Gold WQs TWW

I didn’t say I was right. I said I disagreed.
Maybe learn to read?

Ahhhh the old ‘trying to turn it around on them’ trick.
Weak, but okay; let me retort: I don’t need to do dailies every day. I just like having the option to do them if I feel like it.

Yes. Many people did actually.

That’s really disapointing to know… why bother even making alts then. Hope they revert this change.

Because most people want alts to shake up a bit the endgame they are doing. Like DDing a bit when you are a main healer…

What dosent fit into that is having to re-farm everything …

Basically : using alts to get filthy rich is not “endgame” according to blizzard. And i agree.

One of the main reasons people make alts is for the extra rewards you get.

Please, enlighten me.
You must be crafting legendary cloth items each time😃

I’ll play devil’s advocate. We want account-wide stuff when it will lessen the time needed to spend grinding and also when it will lessen the bad RNG; not when it will lessen our general progress as an account.

If I say I don’t want to have to do a weekly quest on every character to maximize my progress, I am not asking to be limited to only 1 completion per week. I am asking to be able to do it on the same character multiple times, with the limit possibly equal to that of the number of characters on my account eligible for it. Or when I’m asking for a system that allows me to not fall behind in progress, I’m not asking for that progress to be reduced to a crawl so that someone who joins 3 months later catches up within 2 weeks at regular grinding rate.

I’m slighty exaggerating above, but the idiom “You think you do” is misconstrued on the concept that we want a regression and not an advancement.

For example, when I say that I want the overworld to be like Vanilla was, I am not asking to balance it so that I need 20x effort and time to get the same reward. I want the reward per time unit to be equal (or even higher!), except I want it with the same slow movement pace and fighting 2 enemies at a time at most and stopping for mana break every pull.

I dont know… I somehow doubt its the “main” reason…

Especially because I have yet to meet someone that gets excitef or being able to do WQ in 30 different characters and get filthy rich…

Like… " Oh Boy ! Im so exited for WW ! I cant wait to do this 1 WQ that gives me 800g 30 times with my 30 alts ! " … “And I cant wait to level up 30 more alts do do it 60 times … every… single… day…”

But Blizzard does not want everyone to progress 2x, 4x, 15x the speed; whatever your alt count is. And that’s understandable. It’s a consequence of account wide progression.

Oh I know; that was just there for ‘entertainment purposes’.

This needs to be adressed. Twice a week was fine.

Ye i buy token cause when i did calculate the time needed to make gold via profession
and time needed to make 20 euros it’s like 1 hour of work for me and i work 10 a day
so you know MATH
SO now i have gold in game for the stuff i need like enchants and potions
and i also have time to work
it’s win win for me
even tho i know TOKEN is bad
i also like how it’s helping me play the game basically
cause if i didn’t buy token i would not be able to buy consumables and enchants and all that you need for endgame

Eh. Even as someone who only plays their main, getting 150g for a racing quest instead of 600g can certainly be felt.

That’s a substantial nerf to gold as a reward.

Blizzard may have their reasons, but when players did the same kind of racing quests some weeks ago on the Dragon Isles, it’s kind of a bummer to now only get rewarded a fraction of the gold.

Especially because you most certainly remember that you got a lot more not very long ago.

False, professions make lots of gold if you know how.

Anyway that nerf is pathetic

Professions require spending a lot of gold getting them to the point where you can make a profit off of them. You can see that initial spending as an investment, but you need to have the gold in the first place in order to be able to invest it. And if you can’t easily earn it from doing the ordinary gameplay activities, what options are you left with?

Hint: It starts with T and ends with oken.

Oh for sure. I was talking about only being able to do gold WQs once per account.
But yeah the race baggies being nerfed wasn’t really needed imo.

That is not true. I started from zero in DF, never invested in tokens, now I have 30+ mln
In the beginning of expansion you could do a little bit of mining then level profession and sell green tools, it was very easy.

That’s quite an extreme example you just gave! I think most players have around 3 alts and it’s nice to have that extra income, which is now gone!

Having an “Alt army” is definitely real, but it takes a lot of work to manage. Some people actually do it just for that reason. I’ve heard many talk about how easily they make gold using their 50 alts dragon racing :skull: :skull_and_crossbones:

That is true. You level professions (minus gathering) by using materials that you either come across or buy. Regardless of how you got your materials - they are worth gold. By choosing to use them on your professions and not selling them on the Auction House, you are investing in your professions.
And since professions now require way more materials than most players naturally come across themselves, the investment of gold into professions with a prospect of earning it back on crafting later is definitely the design and player prospect.
And if you don’t have that gold to begin with, and you can’t easily come by it through ordinary gameplay activities, the options to get more gold are kind of limited.

I mean, i started on 0 this expansion on herbing/mining and i made without farming more than 100k. Just do not invest in any crafting. Sell the stuff now while the prices are high.

Irrelevant to what I was saying:
