I don’t particularly understand why there’s a nerf on the dragon riding quests, but aren’t some still like 800-900 gold? Don’t mind that as an amount tbh. But 150g… hmm, give cosmetics in the bag not a pointless amount of gold. At least then you’re playing for RNG in the bag
This might not be a big problem now with mats still selling for some good money but give it a month or 2 we are gonna need this raw gold and i agree what they did to the dragon racing gold reward was really disappointing
It is more like consistency. You know when you can check for new world quests when they reset twice a week. Now you basically have to check the whole map every day to see what’s new. And it also does not work that well together with those events where you need to do 3 WQ’s in 1 area. You end up in area’s where aren’t even 3 WQ’s available.
I am playing mostly in the weekend. I know i get new WQ’s on saturday evening. So i can play the WQ’s i want to do of the first half week on saturday, and the 2nd on sunday. That is what i call consistency. Not sure why you call that weird.
No reason to check on other days, etc etc. I can not check on other days when i am not even playing, or have planned other things in game.
I think your response is actually really weird. It is really weird to log in for checking for new world quests, finding out there is 1 new, do it and then log out. Or finding out there is nothing new, or none you want to do, and log out again.
Of course that’s not all I do. I log in to do various things. And among those would be checking for some WQs to do. Nothing weird about that. And quite consistent.
If you prefer to only do that on the weekend; that’s your prerogative. We’ll just have to agree to disagree then, because I like having something to do every time I log in and not only twice per week.
I stopped playing because of fatigue and I am now seriously bored with WoW - but thats me.
Nerfed because players were literally gold farming on WQ in SL and making approx a 1 million a month if not more - I kid you not. Read these forums on how some players have up to 40 alts they play a day.
They actually want you to spend cash to play the game and not use in game gold.
It was actually relaxing flying around dragon isle doing these races while listening to podcast/youtube and knowing at the same time you got decent reward at the same time. I will probably never touch the races now for gold unless i need to do it for weekly world quest requirement
The strangest thing and I feel weird about pointing this out, but old Shadowlands and perhaps other expansion world quests appear to have had their gold increased, the Covenant weekly I was certain had been nerfed but it’s giving I think 1200-1600g, I forgot the exact number but it’s pretty decent given that some of the old world quests are offering more gold than TWW races.
Whats the point to craft/enchant something if you will replace it with the 1st M0 you do ?
And crafting ? A total waste of time untill you can graft the mythic version. And that will take a couple of weeks to farm the crests. Plenty of time to get the gold.
In resume : all that spending you are doing… Not worth it… And unless you plan to raid mythic or puch keys, totally unnecessary during the season.
