So I transferred to AD today, hoping to finally find an rp community. When I logged on I found Goldshire empty and every other place was empty. Does anyone know why and does anyone know some good places to find a community and people in character?
I think Stormwind is pretty full of RPers in the evening hours.

Do not go to Goldshire for RP. It is not in any way representative of the majority of what the RP community on this server is like.

Erm Ad goldshire is not a RP area its more of a ERP area so unless thats your thing avoid it.
I’m sure Argent Dawn can offer your some great quality RP… But you wont find it in Goldshire! What happens in Goldshire I would not describe as “Quality”, or “RP” for that matter. I don’t know what name you would give to that nonsense… Degenerate? 
I would recommend checking out the back end of Stormwind City… Cathedral district, Memorial garden & the Harbor, as well as Taverns dotted around the city, The one in the Dwarven district can be quite nice.
I see most Stormwind RP being in Cathedral Square and Lion’s Rest as you mentioned, but the Shady Lady has been empty the couple of times I checked in the last few days. People might have better luck in the Blue Recluse and around the Mage Quarter.
