Goldshire matters

Something I have been thinking about while playing on a new player server is that Goldshire or Elwynn Forest in general is quite important to many players including the new ones.

Could we perhaps get a small rework of Goldshire to make it more “pretty”? Elwynn Forest plays a big role when it comes to nostalgia and for many people it symbolises the alliance due to the green fields and colourful houses.
It would be great if you could improve the textures, make Elwynn Forest more colourful, like the green areas in Pandaria and stuff like this. Maybe even add a 3rd house in Goldshire? It doesn’t make a lot of sense that there is only an inn and a blacksmith.

Doubt they’ll bother, new players won’t even see it soon.

Nothing is pretty about goldshire.
You know well what im talking about…

Maybe it would be prettier with some red lanterns in the windows? I can get 'em a good deal on those, they’re not very likely to catch fire either.

Stormwind, Northshire, Goldshire all need a rework to make them inline with Boralus, Suramar etc… It is the heart of the Alliance, the most important political power in Azeroth.

It definitely could use an Upgrade Lab, so new players don’t have to travel all the way to Mechagon to get themselves the upgrade treatment.

Beer, beds and swords, makes perfect sense for an adventurer.

And… errr… RPers. Yes, RPers.

Yep we are awesome!!!

Yeah be sure blizzard has nothing better to do than reworking old designs for you to RP in nicer grounds+surroundings.

I couldn’t care less about what Blizz priorities are. If we get new and reworked areas that make RP even better than yeah all the better.

The problem is you fail to understand that blizzard doesnt care about your priorities.

People want raids M+ new zones, not RP in old zones. That makes you minority.

I never said what my priorities were and what Blizz priorities are is their own design decision. Again, I couldn’t care less what other people want. I pay my subscription so that gives me the right to say what I want.

Whether RP is minority or not I don’t care I am going to ask.

Nobody declined you your rights to ask what you want, but im just explaining you simply why it wont happen.

I do recall a few years back they asked game devs in blizzcon “are you going to remake silvermoon?” the answer was “ok next question” and they literally laughed at this guy.

So… You get the point now.

I totally get your point. But at the end of the day you do not work for Blizzard, Activision or any part of the organisation that make the game. As far as I know at least.

So please forgive me if I do not take your negativity at face value.

For all we know they could have a massive project to rebuild the old world. Silvermoon I do not care about for one second as I don’t play Horde. But I would like to think if there was a big world project that SM would be rebuild for Horde players.

However for me personally I recall Blizz saying HE will always be Horde and you think you do but you don’t, hello Classic. So forgive me if I don’t believe Blizz current design philosophy will be the same in years to come.

Don’t forget those pink flamingos you can get too…

Ok, as requested i forgive you.

Good I can now not give a sh*t as much as I did your original post.

I like the Simplicity of Goldshire. Adding a third house is too much. I usually sit outside in the Garden area near the Goldshire inn, and sometimes horde characters would occasionally join and we have a fire place gathering sort of. It’s fun and simple. A change would be too much for such a nostalgic place

Good, you should not give any of them.
Afterall even if you did, nobody would want them
