Good BG healing addon?

I find it so hard to heal big bgs cuz I it’s hard too clearly see who is nearby. The party frames show that, but not too clearly, and so many far away players also show. Is there a good addon that will help to show only nearby friendly targets? Or maybe some settings?

Would appreciate any help.

You could try my TopCombat addon. May not be what you are looking for but take a look if ya want.

TopCombat

Highlights nameplates of nearby group members receiving most dps/damage/hits and/or nearest ally doing most dps/damage/interrupts/dispels.

  1. Ensure friendly nameplates enabled in WoW settings.
  2. Enable preferred group icons in TopCombat addon settings.
  3. Disable any unwanted enemy icons in TopCombat addon settings.

KuiNameplates

Also, a custom nameplates addon like KuiNameplates makes it easier to distinguish nameplates. I have my friendly nameplates set to look completely different from the enemy nameplates.

I use ElvUI raid frames & set it to make anyone out-of-healing range semi-transparent.

Or try Grid2 / Vuhdu.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, this one sounds like a good option, but I have searched ElvUI and there are so many of them. Which one is it exactly?

I can’t post links, but ElvUI is a complete UI (can download from Tukui).

If it’s just the frames you need, you can try Grid2/VuhDu from Curseforge.

So it’s not in curse, I presume?

No, if you Google ElvUI it should direct you to Tukui.
Personally I rate it.

I haven’t healed forever but when I did I really enjoyed using VuhDo

Does it help with filtering those who are out of range?

Yeah it grays out out of range

Is it in the settings, or a special profile?

I think most of them should have various filter options, but they’re not flawless.

(in Ashran, if I’m in the Mage tower, people on ground level will still show as in-range, but will be out of LOS, which gets annoying).

I dont know bro, I’m not using it anymore so you will have to play around with it. But I know it has that option.

I am using ElvUi 13.35 now, you can’t download it from curse, you need to go to tukui DOT org and download elvui from there.

When you go to settings using /elvui at the bottom there’s Search and you search for “range” and you will see UnitFrames options for Raid which give you range fader
