He is just taking a break to recharge his CDs for Mignight where we will get constant updates every minute on how disappointed he is and how X character should die.

Yes yes, keep talking, how many times have you said you want to take a break from the forum or leave, only to end up coming back after 3 days, most of the time after a week at the latest, with the same phrases to fall into the familiar pattern.

To those who think they feel sorry for him now, don’t believe a word he says, we’ve seen this several times in the German forum and I also saw it in English last year.
He talks a lot but doesn’t stick to it, it’s a ploy to generate sympathy only to not change.

We know him, he wont quit.
He will always come back and start the same bs over again, we had it multiple time

I hate to say this as this is often used insincerely, but I do believe he needs professional help. Mental health is a too neglected issue, even today it often still comes with a stigma attached. But there is no shame in looking for help, and I hope he can take this step and start his way to get well.
As a forum dweller I have never valued his “contributions”, but he is still a human being that deserves to be healthy and happy. But I do think he will need help to get there, and I implore him to take that step for his own sake.

He isn’t leaving, its an attention grab. Knowing him, he probably saw another forum posters goodbye message and decided to try it as well.

Mainly his own one from nearly a year ago

Spoiler, there was no break. Not only did he keep posting on that topic but did so on other topics that day. His posts lessened a bit sure but there never was a true break from the forums. He even posted yesterday when looking at his activity and i havent even checked the US forums.

It is as you say, an attention grab just like a year ago and boy did he get attention! He didnt need to announce it then nor now if he actually thought he needed a break or quit but he cant help himself.
