Good Gracious another Gnomumental 11/11 8.00pm

I swear the years go by faster and faster. But this is the first call to let you know that once again the Gnomes (including our taller folk honoury Gnomes) of the Gnomish Rescue Squad will be holding the annual Gnomish Gnomorial Gnomumental. Where we invite all, yes you tall folk are more than welcome too :wink: , to join us in remembering those family, friends and companions that for one reason or another are no longer with us. As ever we commence at 8.00 PM from the gates of IronyForge, when we shall slow stride to New Tinkertown, pay our respects to the High Tinker, then break for some rousing songs and poems before slow striding back to the Cog Gate where we conduct the somber part of our gathering, the naming of the names. then to conclude to lift our spirits we will witness another marvelous firework display before we say our good byes for another year. We hope to see so many faces old and new.

  • Location: Starts at The Gates of Ironforge, striding in procession to New Tinkertown, then the Great Cog Gate at the entrance to New Tinkertown for the actual ceremony

Event details:

On this evening we shall be holding a remembrance service held next to the Great Cogwheel Gate at the New Tinkertown entrance where we shall remember both those lost to the Gnomeregan tragedy as well as anyone who passed this last year. There will be a short appropriate and respectfully special themed performance, featuring Bertel Wobblespring, Tagwin Silvertrigger and Mazzy Bufferpump, speeches, and memorial fireworks to end.

People of all races are welcome to say a few words about a lost loved one they wish to remember and honor, and have the name of their lost beloved family member, friend, partner or colleague inscribed in the Great Cogwheel, to be remembered forever.

It will all begin at the Gates of Ironforge, then striding in procession to first New Tinkertown, to salute High Tinker King Mekkatorque, then back to the Great Cog Gate at the entrance to New Tinkertown for the actual ceremony.

Hosted (to all intents and purposes) by the Gnomish Rescue Squad on Saturday 11/11/24 at 20:00.

Strider is primed, painted and ready for a polish.

What’s left of my carcass will be there, as usual, to give my ceremonial garb its annual outing!

A gnomumentally good time to be had in the company of these fine gnommers. Even if they do keep getting under Justicar’s feet…and stealing his ale! And his shield!

Just a reminder to those that are interested that this event commences at 20.00 but as that is when I plan to commence our stride you might want to arrive a few minutes earlier or have to play “Catch-up”. See you all shortly.
