Are there any good lore characters left?
I don’t mean to sound cynical but I feel like all the great ones have been killed off or ruined.
Tyrande (never a personal favorite) was basically turned into Batman, Thrall… Exists… Baine… Also just kinda exists. Anduin is… Yeah, Magni is rock hard for rocks, Wrathion isn’t ruined yet, right?
I dunno, man. Pls help me remember good characters

I don’t know the fate of the two soldiers in the MoP cinematic, but I like to think they’re alive and well, and continue doing what they did best: being a staple of cross-faction play, choosing to temporarily team up with the opposite faction for one reason or another.
They’re my favourite characters. They have no name, they’re just common folk in a cinematic.
Apart from them, there’s always Mekkatorque.
I do hope they stop killing off leaders/key characters, left right and centre now. Sick of the Game of Thrones approach.
I think the Horde has lost some great characters but Varian was equally a huge blow for the Alliance. I’m not a fan of Thrall or Baine, more Alliance than Horde. Anduin is still looking like a terrible replacement for his father.
I think there are still some great characters though, Jaina, Genn, Lor’themar, Wrathion etc. I would very much welcome seeing Khadgar again. I think most of the Horde council is a wishy washy replacement for a proper Warchief. Fortunately the Alliance hasn’t had to suffer a similar fate with their King/Leadership.

All characters have been written badly in Shadowlands.
Some haven’t appeared in Shadowlands, like Lilian Voss, or Topper Mc Nabb 
Some have barely spoken, or done anything - Baine is the most obvious case, but Jaina and Thrall as well. Thrall meeting Draka was … well, ok, but it kinda didn’t do anthing, good or bad. Which is at least not the awful treatment of Anduin or Tyrande.
I’m struggling to think of one ngl. Who was the last good character? Saurfang? Gul’dan?

Plenty of them around, it’s probably a good thing they’re not in Shadowlands.
I mean… they did a terrible job with Malfurion in Legion and BFA, lord only knows how awful they’d write him in Shadowlands so I’m glad he’s sitting this one out 
Despite everything that happened so far I still think Anduin is a good character, Tyrande as well. I have hope for them but… maybe I’m just a fool.
Gallywix is still alive just AFK at the moment. Can’t wait to see what they do with him next.

I like Darion Mograine. Shame he’s underused. He and the other horsemen should get more spotlight and development in my opinion.
And seriously, Bolvar as the highlord of the Ebon Blade? 
Hope he’ll sacrifice himself and die or something. Such an embarrassing loser character.
I think he’s pretty cool actually, for a flaming guy. Except for the part where they say he leads the Ebon Blade - that’s my job! 
I hope DKs get more stuff in the next patch but I have a feeling they won’t.

For some reason the writers are hell bent on making the Stormwind king the leader of the Alliance. I understand Anduin inheriting Stormwind, but the alliance should have probably been led by Tyrande or Greymane from that point forward. Too bad blizz is too busy butchering their character.
