Did you just compare building a home to maybe looting a mount in a game?
I am sorry you find other people’s fun to be your misery, but some of us enjoy RNG. I will run content that gives me a chance at a reward occationally, and enjoy it. What I do not appreciate, is content that tells me how many times I have to do something to get the reward. That is instantly killing my interest in doing it. I HATE currencies, because then I know I have to do stuff X amount of times to get what I want, and it’s usually way too many times for my patience.
I do like a mix though, where the chance of loot is there while the currencies tick in as a side effect… Like with the legion legendaries at the end of Legion.
I want the element of surprise, because then every second spent doing the content feels worth it. If I grind a currency, I know how many times I need to do something for no reason what so ever, besides repeating something X amount of times to be eligable for the reward. I find it super lame, and rather always be eligable through RNG.
