I usually feel pretty cursed, my drop chances should be good then 
Nothingâs really explained as seems to be the thing nowadays. Can one person talk to the wicker people and make it hard mode for the whole group? If thatâs the case, Iâll have to keep my alts out because they can barely stay alive on normal.

I got 5 donkeys years ago when mounts were not account bound. Should really have been allowed to mail the excess out to ppl who struggle to get them. Always thought it was the best mount in game no flapping or dodgy animations always seemed a more precise landing. Used it on all chars until Grovewarden came along then used that on fat Orcs etc where the horse looked over burdened.
Hard mode? I took the curses but it didnât feel anything close to hard lol
Did âhardâ mode on all characters ranging from level 50 to 70. None struggled or failed (as I did my best to avoid stuff). It made the fight slower. Oh⌠its SO much easier on ranged classes. I always feel like we get screwed more as melee when it comes to mechanics.
One annoying thing about it: some people rush to start the event if they do before you have 4 curses up (which with all the warning boxes to click isnât hard): no achievement. Had that on my main and two others.
Nope, have the mount. Just want Arfus and manuscript. Hope my luck is better than brewfest

I got the mount last year or the year before. I did the encounter yesterday and spoke to the drust to accept all 4 curses. Managed to complete it, I like the fact that you dont have to keep targeting his head. The death breath pumpkins seems more maneagable.
One thing thats a minor issue, the broom stick you get can be mounted instantly and whilst you move. The Eveâs ghastly broomstick is now insta cast however not when your moving lol. Yeah I know a minor 1st world problem but would have loved Eveâs broom to be insta cast on movement.
Edit :- I also got some sorta dragonriding skin, sad they are wasted on me I never customise my dragons I just dont care. I use my netherwing version as it came to me.
It depends on which wicker you talk with.
When I did it yesterday I asked if people want to do the hard mode version. When they said yes and I accepted the curse from the biggest one and everyone in the group got it.
Likely individual curses can be picked for each, while talking to the big one just blanket curses the entire group. I am not sure yet about the individual curses though, if they only apply to you or to the entire group.
Got Arfus, forgot I got him and queued on my Shaman, missed Sha spawn 
15 minute queue, 3 times someone refused (always a dps), 3 times told we were at the front of the queue but we werenât the first and second times. Finally got in the third. Despite being desperate for the mount (and Arfus) Iâm only going to do it on one character from today onwards. I canât face the stress of not getting in.

Nope but it does increase your chance to get the key for Scarlet Monastery of Old. Which you go and complete and opens up original (vanilla) Scarlet Monastery instance for all your alts and gives you access to some unique coloured mogs.
Itâs unfortunate it only mentions the horse mount, as Iâm only after the pet and manuscript.
