Got my Arfus on the first run today and achievement. A helpful fella told me I could use the big wicker man to apply all buffs right away. :dracthyr_uwu:

Now just that manuscript Pink Rocket and Brewfest PTSD starts activating :dracthyr_uwahh_animated: :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I guess I’m still doing something wrong … took all 4 curses from the big wicker, didn’t die, no achievement. Admittedly I didn’t see a lot of the curses - only saw and killed the shadow once, didn’t see an orb at all, so maybe just healing myself isn’t good enough.
Got the hood and the squashling which I get nearly every time.

I selected the 4 curses on 3 characters but did not get the achievement, while other players in the party got it. What am I doing wrong? At one point I’m getting stunned and the debuff goes away!

One friend got the manuscript on his first try yesterday and two others got the doggo.

It should be one big purple swirly party at times, I’m a bit confused you didn’t get those. May overlap with spriest purple swirly stuff? No idea, never play spriest! :wink:

Has there been any consensus on whether HM means better chance at Arfus? I can do HM but all the stuff to avoid makes me nervous :wink: so if I can just do it easy mode that’d be lovely lol.

It’s kind of confusing because their clarification about hard mode only referred to the HH mount. Not the new goodies.

Yeah that’s the only info I could find as well. I had hopes maybe some math wizards had figured it out by now, and you are always great with providing sources like that :slight_smile:

Well the dungeon event does not pop as frequently nor as quickly as in the past. I suspect this is because you only have one chance per day, so players are trying once per day. I agree this is a tedious and dumb format. Just let it drop like in the past and that goes for all the rewards. Who cares how many head pieces, rings and swords you get.

It is now 2pm and I am in the queue for 17mins so far.

I recommend anyone who can to sign as healer or tank i didnt even bother to farm this on my dps only classes. I have done my part to help with the ques signing up on 20 druids healing getting instant group, do i want to heal that crap when people picking all curses and stands in bad? No, would it be nice to just sign as dps not having to bother with anything? Yes but some of us has to do the dirtywork

Just saw this on Wowheads. Seems if you have the 4 curses it increases your chance at loot drops.

You might want to paste the link into your original too makes it easier than scrolling all the way down.

From what I understood once you clear the library, you get another scarlet key at Doan. I still need to activate my key and check it but if I get one I’d be happy to give you one if you have no luck :slight_smile:
