Good Performance, bad stuttering - TPM potential cause

I’ve made a ticket to hopefully get this resolved, but thought I’d share finding here.

After talking to guildies about my stuttering issue in game despite high FPS and they went through the usual diagnostics of removing the holy trinity Cache, Interface and WTF, even fully reinstalling the game, disabling router and AV firewall, changing drive paging permissions but the only thing that made a bit of difference was disabling TMP in BIOS, but as I am on w11 I need it for some applications.

So thought I would share here and see if anyone else with stuttering notices a difference or even better if anyone knows of a safe solution.

I am considering buying a TPM module, but I don’t think this will make a difference as my CPU already supports fTPM 2.0.

If it is a amd. The cpu on am4 has a lag problem with the tpm.

To fix it you need to update the bios on you motherboard.

BIOS is the latest stable version, which is from 2022. There is a beta build, which is from 2023 that mentions “TPM out of bounds access security patch”, but I am not sure I should install a beta BIOS build.

But yes it is AMD 5800x3D CPU.

Is the BIOS date 2022?
Its very old if u ask me.
My morherboard (ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PRO (WI-FI)) has 4 updated BIOS since 2023.01.01.
One of the updates says this: Update AMD 5000/3000 Series CPU fTPM version,

I dont know what kind of motherboard u have, but some kind of BIOS update is very needed to that system.

So I updated to the beta version of BIOS as advised by MSI and I still get stuttering. I am awaiting their reply.
