Good servers to WPvP on?

At the moment I have ALL my characters on Argent Dawn, and I have been playing my Alliance Dracthyr since the start of Dragonflight. :slight_smile:

However…

I LOVE WPvP. :ok_hand: And the problem with Argent Dawn is that it is 75% Alliance, and the 25% Horde doesn’t seem to do much WPvP… :man_shrugging:

I wanna keep playing Dracthyr, but don’t wanna delete my Alliance one on AD either… So now I’m left with picking another server to play on, which is completely new territory to me. :sweat_smile:

I have NO idea how servers work in terms of “world sharing”… :grimacing: All I know is how to look at what their ratio is when it comes to Horde/Alliance using a 3rd party site like wowanalytica.

My wish if possible… Is to find another server that shares the open world with Argent Dawn, so I can make a Horde Dracthyr and fight the 75% Alliance that dominate that server. :person_tipping_hand:

But I don’t know if that kind of world sharing is something that exists in WoW. :slight_smile:

If not then I would like a server where I know for sure that there is WPvP happening, and preferably with a slight Alliance overpopulation ratio (more players to attack).

Does anyone have any recommendations? :slight_smile: And maybe able to enlighten me in how server sharing works?

Atm I have looked at Defias Brotherhood as a potential server, since it is about 45/55 Horde/Alliance. But I don’t know if it’s a good pick. :man_shrugging:

Didn’t get a reply in here, so decided to just give Defias Brotherhood a go.

From what I gathered so far, the open world is shared among more than just one server. I keep seeing people from other servers around me, including Argent Dawn players. So I assume that all servers are grouped/fused together in bundles.

It definitely solved my issue. :slight_smile: So glad to see Alliance players roam the world now.

Hey there! If only another 25% of alliance on our shard had this attitude, wpvp would actually be fun here (for both sides)

As it stands I’m looking to migrate two hordies away - I’d like to get at least one war crate, yknow

It’s more 6/1 on Argent Dawn and the Alliance get the warmode bonus on top. Totally cheese server that’s meant for RP but you find all sorts on there with unfriendly RP abusing the system. It’s been this way since BFA and Blizzard ignore the system.

The realm is only relevant in war mode if it’s RP or non RP. In wm we are not actually on our realm, but a ‘shard’. So Defias will be same shards as Argent Dawn. If you’d moved to a normal realm like Outland for example, you’d be on the separate normal war mode shards. But if your issue is solved great! :slight_smile:

I’m on Agent Dawn as horde. The world pvp is great, loving it.
My suggestion would be for you to delete your dracthyr and make a horde one, on the same server. They start at lv58 anyway, so no reason to waist reall money.

Oh awesome! That clears things up significantly in regards to why I still seem to play “with the same faction ratio in WM”. :slightly_smiling_face: I made a good decision to go Horde then, since the imbalance would have been felt even if I picked a server with different Horde/Alliance ratio. :sweat_smile:

Argent Dawn is 10 to 1 in Alliance favour, you should never expect to get a war chest air drop if you roll here.

You’ll find it hard to do any 1v1 with the sheer amount of Alliance that dominate all the popular spots.

If you play here, find some friends to fight with you.

Open world pvp is way more fun when you fight more then one player. I don’t enjoy group fights that much.
2v1 is the best.

It’s not going to be 2 vs 1 on Argent Dawn, it will be 3-5 vs 1.

You will never be able to get an air drop unless you’re already in a 5 man group. The incentive for alliance to turn warmode on is huge considering they get the bonus as well as over populating the Horde.

I world PvP every day on the AD realm,the only saving grace is the PvP areas are ffa.

Now if only people couldn’t group up… Specifically annoying when it’s a whole raid not even doing the quest but just farming coins and getting bounties lol

If you play Horde most players have given up these days. I always say group on general for a bounty or war chest, 9x outta 10 you’ll get silence or only 1-2 responses. When you arrive at the chest you’ll see 10 alliance jumping for joy like it’s Christmas ready to open yet another chest uncontested.

I’m also AD - have both a horde and alliance character running around in warmode.

The imbalance is honestly crippling for both sides. On my alliance one week got the ‘Kill 25 Horde!’ quests, which I never did get finished because I couldn’t find them, On horde I have been frequently found shrieking at my screen because could we perhaps, maybe, not port in more alliance from other servers?

My hordes not seen a single resource crate, I gave up trying to go for them because there’s be 20+ alliance sat there with their dismount guns.

I wish I had an actual solution.

(On the upside managed to farm the bloody tokens achieves on my alliance by chasing planes like a terrier racing after a bicycle)

there is like 50 servers where horde population is 90%+ AD is not 1 of them

That’s not a problem, it’ll be fine if Horde had the WM bonus! But they don’t, the alliance outnumber the Horde and get the bonus on top!
