Goodbye Alliance

It’s time I part myself from the Alliance, no matter how much I love; the aesthetics, amazing lore and races…
I can’t stay here more and I have to move on, Alliance is beyond dead right now and there are barely any players I can play with, and I want to do high end game content like mythic+ and Heroic and maybe mythic raiding in the future.

Goodbye Alliance I will miss you, I may come back if faction balance is in favor of it.

Wow, red really looks good on me! :3

I guess I have to stop dreaming about Tyrande kicking Sylvanas’ head into the sunset…

It will take me some time to get used to it, but thank you!

Have fun though  and grats on the mog!

Hey OP, was it a hassle to change faction with all the reps and stuff? I’ve been wanting to faction change for a while but I’m scared I’m gonna ruin my achievements or my reps somehow.

Hey, I have all my reputations saved same with my achievements, it’s even weird that I got an achievement that I never had…

All rep remains, and gets translated to the appropriate horde faction (if any; any faction that does not have a horde equivalent, will still be attached to your character if you faction change back).

The catch is that your quest log gets cleared. So if you have any quests in progress, that progress is likely to get lost (unless you’re collecting items that do not disappear without the quest), and you’ll have to go out and pick the quest up again.

Furthermore, with a faction change, you can also change your name, which might cause issues with addons, and you’ll have to re-adjust some of them.

Alright ty for the clarification, probably gonna faction change an alt first to test the water, don’t want to spend 200€ and realize it’s the same as alliance.

If you PuG, it’s pretty much the same, except for having more groups available on LFD. But since there are a lot more groups, it’s also much easier to build a friend network.

It’s not a magic pill that fixes everything. Comes pretty close, though.

PS: Can we have #CrossFactionPlay, so people don’t feel they have to go horde for any kind of sensible PvE progress?

Moving Horde IS the solution, more especially for those who want to play in organized group content.

This being said, I’m amazed how laggy are the forums. I mean, this avatar XD

Write bigger! Let’s shout what we want!

Yup, I completely agree!

I quite like mine, it’s an appropriate representation of the situation. :]

It’s the bandaid. The solution would be something where people get to play what they want, not what they need to.

I’ve been tweeting that at @warcraftdevs every two days or so. Not helping yet. :frowning:

I already gave up on alliance because of the nelf lore butchery they have been done.

They ruined Darkshore and Ashenvale in Cata? Ok cool, I can live with that.

They made Illidan look like a mary sue simp? Cringe

Malfurion got portrayed as a beta male coward in game? I cry inside because in the books he is so badass.

Burn Teldrassil and genocide an entire population? Cool as long there is satisfying vengeance- Oh wait…

THERE WAS NEVER ANY!

Danuser keeps weeing on the dead corpse because he lacks ambition to give the nelf fans (which make up a huge chunk of the playerbase) deserved closure.

So much potential wasted and ruined…
Could’ve just leave them alone instead like with gnomes, at least they didnt get ruined.

Yet, you’ll be seen as some sort of naysayer… Gl with those dudes.

Yeah, in our heart and soul, we’re Alliance!!

It’s the solution in the current context, wink wink

Then tweet at him every single hour!

So much done for sympvanas!
