Goodbye friends

I do not want this post to cause a big stir. Just a player since BC leaving the game and why I feel its best to move on…

To start, I loved the game (lore, collections, progession, pvp, satisfaction)

I had a lot of hope for shadowlands and gave it my all - levelling experience for me was good! Loved the feel of the zones and the general unknown.

Reached max level, and generally thought oh s**t there’s a lot to do this week (I am a teacher full time) - covenant dailies, WQ, orbios weekly (pve, pvp), torghast, maw, general dungeon runs (what ever difficulty)! The game was generally my down time from busy work life.

However, the game soon turned into a stressful chore! If I missed x,y,z I was behind.

Now there will be these players that state ‘you do not have to complete it all’ - However, as a player since BC you generally feel as you have to. If I miss torghast this week, how far behind will I be in the future for legendary matts etc. Will groups accept me to raids, ask for the ‘curve achievement’ or what is my ‘RIO’! I remember the days of standing in Dalaran for a gear inspection, the days I bloody miss!

What are my personal issues with the game (I’m not looking for a debate, MY personal problems, generally gutted I am hanging up the coat for good- fire away the troll elitist kiss kiss (area) players response of how it works so well for them)

  1. Arena - just terrible, one shot classes, no real balance in the game - mythic/hc raiders can join and burn you (literally watched method in the world race farm conquest for extra gear and annihilate pvp players). The honour system gets you so far, however you are out geared with the raid launch.

  2. Mythics - loot drop problems, toxic dps classes which shout skip ‘methods’ to
the tanks, which often leads to wiping (complain that much, roll a tank) - they will soon complain of tank shortages

  3. Raids - pugs are a constant leaving problem, guilds are too competitive which promotes a toxic environment (again what I have experienced) - strict schedule, meet this criteria or do not raid with us. Remember, its just a game

  4. Anima - the new azerite, farm, farm, farm.

  5. Generally, blizzards lack of engagement of the player base - unless you meet the top criteria

  6. Lastly, you are generally screwed if you have more than one character - say goodbye to alts! Reputation farm, gear catch up, its all the bloody same these days.

Wish you all well with the game, I’ve had enough - its no longer enjoyable.

P.s You cannot have my gold, I gave it to the first level 10 character I saw,

Peace, enjoy the game if you can and farewell!

Give me your gold please? Oh no:

Maybe you just need a break from the game? I’m sure you will figure it out. Either way good luck to you on your new adventures.

cya man … enjoy th next game you play :)…

im on the same page about raiding, i joined a NON-hardcore guild which was looking to make a raid team…

they require people to raid 4 days a week and not miss raid times or be late … or do exactly as they tell you or you will be replaced by others etc…

it’s just too much…

raiding could of been fun sure… but not in this community.

Sadly its not about the game anymore , even if they invent better systems people are toxic and will find a way to abuse the meta. This is the way of the world , suck it up or leave it up. Good luck on your life <3

If people care for progress and statistics too much (like the guild you mentioned), they forget to enjoy the game with others, it seems.

‘‘The same arguments people use that make no sense’’ - you act like everyone is like you! - please…

Like i said my experience of the game, not yours! Irrelevant argument there pal.

However, thanks for the end of your comment - we shall see what game i play next! Wish you all the best! (no hate)

I agree not completely, but with some of the points you listed.

The only reason I haven’t quit is because wow keeps me sane during quarantine.

But with studies, jobs, wow, and clubs (school clubs) I feel over stressed.

Enjoy whatever path you follow in the future

Wish you all the best pal! What ever direction you take… smile, new day, enjoy what you enjoy

I went through quarantine as well. Not pleasant, but you can do it! :hugs:

Why flag?

Just stating my opinion - not that it will matter when my sub is up!

You do what you have to do…

Just saying my farewell after all these years - thats it!

All the best to you

How was that trolling? I was being dead serious. It seems like there’s a lot of people that dont even like wow anymore but keep playing the game and then whine on forums. Just do yourself a favor and find something that will entertain you.
Im not going anywhere pal

Prehaps work on the wording then!

Just saying a goodbye, what i experienced!

Most of your issues can be solved by joining a guild.
The arena can be solved by having a trusted friend disc priest ( since you are a arms war )

Ahh my bad bro! I can handle the player - they obviously have nothing better else to do!

Sorry for the accusation

I have been here since BC I don’t have the I have to do stuff feeling at all.

There are lots of stuff I have missed over the years because I just couldn’t be bothered to do or were too difficult/annoing for me to do.

Mage Tower tried it maybe 3 or 4 times and kind of just forgot it even existed.

Mop challenge modes found out the Mythic dungeons were run against the clock so never even tried them.

Flying moose mount. Never had the gold to buy a boost to get it and as I have no real interest to do raids as current content other than LFR it was something that was just out of my reach.

I think wod might have had challenge modes with rewards too can’t be sure never have done any M+ because I got bored peoples nonsense long time ago.
