Dear Blizzard, I write this post-letter taken from the bitterness gained in the last weeks of play.
I state that this account dates back to just before the launch of WOD, but with WoW I grew up, literally.
I was 8 years old when I started playing, just thinking about it now I am inundated with a feeling of excruciating melancholy, there is an infinitely vast world to discover, populated by other players of all kinds and you were free to do what you wanted but you always found something interesting and above all FULLFILLING!
I remember the effort to understand what to do, at eight years a child does not know much about English unless he is native, but the desire to play created a determination to continue playing and I thank WoW if today I'm comfortable in the use of the English language.
I was small and inexperienced I could not do anything but complete missions and level up, but I remember the emotions I felt watching my father do the first dungeons, then after months the first raids
I remember the announcement of TBC, with the mighty voice of Illidan that made that scream an icon of the Blizzard universe.
Then Arthas, then Deathwing, Then Garrosh and his follies, then the total temporal confusion caused by the history of WOD, and so on until today.
Well, dear Blizzard, after years of love and hate, after years of fun on Azeroth, I find myself with an enormous sense of sadness and disappointment to tell you that I fear my adventure ends here.
Sadness because when you fall in love with WoW, you know, you love it forever, but this love at the moment finds too many impassable obstacles and that's why I write taken from bitterness and disappointment.
The community asks, rather it begs for some characteristics that already existed in the game world and what do you do? continue to ignore us, continue to make it your way, continue to fail miserably in giving life to brilliant ideas that, unfortunately, are developed badly or wrongly.
During the MOP you added that fun system of time dungeons challenges, a solid system that guaranteed rewards if you could complete those difficult challenge, and all this gave an enormous sense of satisfaction!
You then have removed the reforging system, which was a great idea as it allowed you to use pieces of equipment that, without the use of this system, were totally useless! The idea of looting an item by doing something that involved some effort and the not begin able to use it cause of the useless stats its just so sad and poor-designed.
As a PVP player I can only emphasize how nice the gearing system was during WOD!
it is undeniable that little improvments were missing, such as increasing the iLVL based on your rating in each bracket, but it was so nice and satisfying to be able to choose the piece of equipment that you preferred.
Then came BfA, it seemed to be the best expansion of all time, but it turned out to be a disastrous project that "loses water from every hole"!
In legion you have implemented the system of artifacts, already in the course of the expansion you said that they would be removed as they restricted access to the use of more classes and specializations, and everyone were just excited about this news!
But then what have you done ?! you have practically revisited the system giving life to the azerite gear that induces even more to play content that a player may not enjoy, just to try to be as competitive as possible by getting a specific trait, in addition to the fact that they brought a disgusting imbalance in the game with frustrating and ridiculous situations!
Anyone who participates in the competitive PVP scene is telling you to stop nerfing strong specs and rather empowering the weak ones, so that anyone can feel strong, this would make the game more fun and fulfilling for everyone, but you keep ignoring this request!
It has been emphasized how wrong it is to allow the staking of azerite traits, this because it pushes the player to try to get a specific object even through content that does not want to play (and add imbalances to the game,w e saw it)!
We have been imploring you for about 3 years to re add PVP VENDORS, but on your part there has not been the slightest communication about it!
I am so tired, embittered, sad and totally disappointed by how you are managing the development of the game and the demands of the community!
I know that probably no one will care about this message, and i'm sad that so many player still play the game even if they admin that the game have so many problems at the moment
But I hope that one day close enough, you can open your eyes realizing how unjust your actions are, I hope one day you can be humble enough to admit your mistakes and take into consideration those who love the game and, living it full, know more of you what's best for the future of the Warcraft universe.
I'm holding on til blizzcon.
I think many people are.
They had better do some SERIOUS sucking up their playerbase, and admit they screwed up, because the addressing of this at blizzcon is going to impact how many people actually stick around to see tides.
Good luck to them, fingers crossed.

i used to dispute this but im slowly learning its not far off the truth
I've already cancelled my sub all well - both because the badly written story and other aspects of BFA, and both because of bad personal treatment I got.
Sub ending in 31.12 (as i was foolish enough to pay for 3 months) I might change my mind is something extra ordinary will happen in Blizzcon... (and no, showing some "cool raid" isn't), but I don't hold my hopes high.
Already renewed my sub to Elder Scrolls Online. With all of their flaws, at least they respect their lore and high fantasy world, rather then turning it to some simplified super-hero rip-off.

That's a lot of text to say: "I'm out because no pvp vendor!"
Bye man. I will still play the game. Not because I won't admit it's bad, but because I honestly think that it is currently better than ever before. (Have played since vanilla beta, on and off)
send gold?
send all ur gold to Surgekin-Outland, ty bb
I think it's pretty cool that your enjoyment of a game helped or encouraged you to learn English. Anyway, game systems come and go. I think what has really happened is that you've grown up and the kind of fulfilment that you're looking for now can't be found in a game. So good luck in whatever you're doing and best wishes in finding some real fulfilment.
bye
Yeah well. It is pretty normal that after playing the same video game for 12 years one feels like this.
I think game has improved in many aspects, especilly compared to when it launched, but people are not aware that what they truly want is the feeling they had when hey started playing, but that is impossible, because it was more than a decade ago. Your hobbies were different, your gaming perspective was different, your desires and ultimatelly, your life, were completelly different.
Did I enjoy TBC more than BFA? Yes.
Is TBC better gmae than BFA? Far from it.
I don't understand why people write posts like this. It's just a video game which is bound to change over the years. WoW has lived long after many predicted it will die.
Simply stop playing and that's it, there's no science behind it.
When I get bored, I stop. When I desire to play again, I resub and enjoy again.
Regards,
Imm

You are 3/8 in LFR of course you enjoy the game.
Why does everyone think raiding is the source of fun in this game (when it's exactly the source of frustration, ex : not getting in your guilds run, pugs being very slow and not efficient , LFR not being rewarding , nights wasted on progress , many hours of frustration cuz someone stepped in !@#$) . You can buy full HC run just for the numbers on the profile for literally 8 hours of herb farming.
You could be having fun, pet battling, collecting stuff, doing alts , or skirmishes, mount farming and so much more.
I agree that the game is far from a great design, but you can still have fun for the subscription money who's less than a coffee's worth a day here.
