I just tested the new Soul harvester hero talent Gorefiend’s Resolve that affects Soulstone and it does not seem to work as intended.
The talent text is:
“Targets ressurected with Soulstone ressurect with 40% additional health and 80% additional mana”.
This changes the tooltip and i assume the intended effect of soulstone from:
“Stores the soul of the target party or raid member, allowing ressurennction upon death. Also castable to ressurect a dead target. Target ressurects with 60% health and at least 20% mana.”
Into this tooltip text:
“Stores the soul of the target party or raid member, allowing ressurennction upon death. Also castable to ressurect a dead target. Target ressurects with 100% health and at least 100% mana.”
The health restorationn to 100% does seem to work when tested but the mana part which would put a dead party member to “At least 100% mana” only takes them to “At least 20% mana” which is the pre-talent effect.
Either the talents tooltip and effect or Soulstones tooltip is a leftover from testing or the actual outcome of the tooltip does not happen.
I really hope we can get some clarity on this, since it could have a massive effect on high end raiding and dungeons, with healers running out of mana.
In my opinion the talent without the mana part of it is only 40% more hp when ressed which would not be worth a hero talent, it would barely be noticed even in high level raiding.
