Same problem here. Left it yesterday since none of the mobs necessary to complete this step were around.
Came back today, still stuck at 3/6 progress. No Mawsworn Soulfeeders around to kill. Have checked with a /tar macro

For me it worked yesterday. There’s probably something that causes the required mobs to bug, which will likely not fix itself before the server reset.
Definetly file a bug report. After that the only thing you can try is using the group finder to find a shard where the event is not bugged.
I managed to complete it in warmode on.
Others reported this issue aswell on wowhead, apparently.
So, right now, the workaround is : turn on warmode, complete quest.
Don’t worry btw if the progress do not update on the next 2 rituals stopped.
It says 3/6, but it’s really 1/6. So, you kill 2 rituals to get to 3/6, then the 4th get you to 4/6. At this point, the problem is solved, and the quest progress as normal.
Once you completed it, you can turn WM off again.
