Got expert riding skill for free?

Hello people,

I am relatively new to WoW and I have a question regarding the expert riding skill. I am now level 71 (blood elf, mage) and noticed that my hearthsteed mount can now fly in ogrimmar. I have checked my general professions tab to see how is this possible without learning the expert riding skill and to my surprise I had already learned it. However, I do not recall buying the skill for 200-250 gold. How is this possible? Is there a possibility that I got it from a dungeon/battleground?

It happens to me too I get the achievement during BGs hehe.

Only thing I can think of is if there was a quest that forces you to fly. I know there used to be (maybe still is?) a quest in WotLK in Sholazar or Stormpeaks where you’d get a “rented” flying machine if you didn’t have a flying mount and/or couldn’t fly, but since you’re just above level 70, I don’t imagine that’s what’s happened.
