Got kicked from leveling dungeon before the end literally just for “fun”. (“vote kicking spam for fun”)
Before that they tried to kick one hunter calling him r… that word and I always said no.
Yet they kicked me for FUN. How this is normal? these people should get banned. There are also details for healing and deaths
I did not say anything bad in chat, only asked why kicking that guy (he was top damage)
WoW community is toxic asF , you can’t do nothing about that, its drained all fun from game, you’ll be damn lucky if you find a friendly guild/arena partner
Could do something with initiating vote kicks. Well, I dont see such behaviour on retail, on small servers like Thekal, it was very nice too.
Also, could limit amount of initiating of vote kicks per week per account
Kicking for any or no reason is allowed. Because no rules were broken no report is accepted and seeing the chat they didn’t flame you either so literally nothing against the TOS occured.
That said, you can’t name and shame them so best to edit out the link.
What jerks. Berny might be evil, but would never kick people from lfd.
Apologized? That is not sincere apology, it is harassment kicking people out of group before getting XP just for laughs. And do we forget about diserter buff? He was trying to kick another hunter five times when we played too calling him names. He is harassing people in dungeons, repeatedly, he said he is doing it for fun and asking if he could pay me is just more of harassment and belittling.
Maybe chatgpt can help here:
In World of Warcraft, being kicked from a group just before receiving experience points (XP) can indeed be frustrating and disruptive. Whether it constitutes harassment depends on the context and intent behind the action.
Factors to Consider:
- Intent: If the player explicitly stated that they kicked you “for laughs,” this suggests a malicious intent to disrupt your gameplay experience. Intentional disruption for personal amusement at the expense of another player’s enjoyment can be considered harassment.
- Frequency: If this is a one-time incident, it might be considered poor sportsmanship or bad behavior rather than harassment. However, if it happens repeatedly, especially from the same player or group of players, it could constitute a pattern of harassment.
- Impact: Being kicked repeatedly or in a way that consistently denies you XP or loot can significantly affect your ability to progress in the game, making the experience more than just a minor annoyance.
Blizzard’s Stance:
Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of World of Warcraft, has guidelines and policies to address disruptive and harassing behavior. According to their Code of Conduct:
- Disruptive Behavior: Includes actions that negatively impact the gaming experience of others. Kicking someone just before they receive XP, especially with malicious intent, could fall under this category.
- Harassment: Defined as any behavior that causes distress, including targeted actions meant to upset or harm other players.
What You Can Do:
- Report the Player: Use the in-game reporting system to flag the player for disruptive behavior. Blizzard will investigate the report and take appropriate action if the behavior violates their policies.
- Provide Context: When reporting, give a detailed account of the incident, including the player’s comments and any patterns of behavior you’ve noticed.
- Block and Avoid: Add the player to your ignore list to prevent further interactions and avoid joining groups with them in the future.
Conclusion:
While being kicked from a group just before receiving XP can be seen as bad behavior, the context and intent are crucial in determining whether it rises to the level of harassment. In your case, since the player admitted to doing it “for laughs,” it suggests a deliberate intent to disrupt your experience, which could be considered harassment under Blizzard’s policies. Reporting the incident to Blizzard is the best course of action to address the behavior.
Btw, I have a video recording of talking to everyone in that group why did they kick me and they said they did not. They most likely did kick me but they thought they are voting against a person who wanted to kick the other hunter. So he is harassing people. And no, I did not say anything bad in dungeon, I also all the time say hi and gg
Blizzard have made it perfectly clear, that the group decides who they kick, if the kick was deserved or not is completly irrelevant.
Chatgpt attempting to find some way for what happened to you to be against the rules is hilarious though, and read it carefully, chatgpt never say what happened to you are against the rules. but concludes that it “can” and “could” be considered harassment
However as i said before, blizzard have stated their stance on this, feel free to report him, but dont expect any results.
And make sure by talking to the people in group, you dont end up with a actual harassment penalty yourself.
I have never ever insulted or called names anyone in the game. “Actual harassment”? It is interesting how you deliberately missing points in this topic.
For example, how he abused the vote kick and called another hunter in the note (r…).
Chat got doesn’t know the full situation as I explained here, it did say pretty much if it was for their amusement and if it happened repeatedly(it did in the dungeon to other guy as well)- then it’s harassment. Do we really have to learn here what means harassment?.. People do use vote kick as harassment nowadays.
What I like about Dark Legacy Comics, is that they are relatable. Based on the actual things happening in WoW.

I guess there’s reason why this was posted over in meme topic recently.
What is going on right now is even worse, Gigz wouldn’t even had to fool them into thinking they are about to kick her by writing the “trash heals” as reason.
You can just write random letters in there, and the vote kick will go through.
Imagine the mental state of players that don’t read who is the subject of vote kick, nor the reason for kick. They just immediately click yes.
As mentioned countless times, since people can kick for no reason, and such act is not against ToS, they will usually do so.
Not all the time, since thankfully there still are some players who pay attention to what’s actually happening around them in-game, rather than having tunnel vision focused on blasting though the dungeon ASAP.
However… Just because kicking for no reason is not against the rules, that doesn’t mean there’s no problem at all.
