Had a few whispers and about 10 people in chat just randomly message me stuff along the lines of “imagine rolling a blood elf hunter lololololol” and “Why would you chose hunter as blood elf? They have no beneficial racials”
My question, what the hell is this all about? I like blood elf’s and I wanted to roll a hunter, it’s that simple. When did everyone become so passive aggressive about how other people chose to enjoy their free time? We ain’t all going that extra centimetre to get a 0.4% dps boost cause of a racial. My hunter will still do more DPS than your ret pally or alt moonkin so what’s the hate and grief for? I felt so attacked 
Is the game that hardcore that you are forced into certain race/class meta combos now?

I usually just ignore them, it’s similar with how I rolled human priest in classic.

because they didn’t like that blood elfs are part of the horde I guess and also because they meta andys that think everyone should play specific class that matches race racials otherwise you playing “WRONG” I also had couple ppl telling me reroll to undead priest when I was pvping as troll priest in rated bg’s back in a day.

It is just that Classic is often Metaslave: The Game. There is little to no respect to players playing "non optimal ". I myself got /Spit on 3 times for playing UD shadow priest yesterday (got told i had to be troll because of shadoward being BiS). My experience is those players often come from big pvp servers or just trolling.
Just ignore them.

I find it funny that players who wisper you think they make fun of you while in fact they are just sad losers, this says more about them then you imo and just send them a heart next time because I think they need some love 
Apart from that just remember its just a very tiny group doing that stuff, just like turds in GW2 WvW hating on rangers, every game has to have a few clowns

Those are the very same that go full meta and try-hard don’t get above a 50 parse , survive a piñata Boss or get past 1300 arena rating.

They are just losers like the ones that try to bully people who bought a mount with /spit they think the game should be certain way and anyone that doesn’t conform gets abuse. These guys will quit the game in 2 months because they will never be happy so just put them on ignore

As everybody says ignores them but that’s not something new …
I remember back in TBC when I was a teenager my brother got hard flamed by a random dude on his dwarf hunter because he had a pet spider while the other guy was bragging about his pet “tiger”.
Imagine rolling a blood elf hunter,who the hell cares,its just a game.

The best thing is it’s not even a bad race for hunters in PvP so many situations where an aoe silence would be handy like when a priest runs into to physic scream or a mage blinks in to nova even running next to enemy healer and pop it when your going in for a kill on another target

I also rolled a belf hunter and noone commented. Consider changing server in such a toxic pile of dirt environment.

Just whisper them back and call them pathetic, petty no-lifers who are getting reported for harassment, then ignore them.
Its not the game, but the players. They read a guide and believe that this is the way to play. Pity, as this game is anything but hard. The bosses in TBC will fall just as quickly as in Classic.

It’s just min-maxers who are slaves to the meta. Just look at Classic when it launched; loads of people min-maxed raids and in the end, it made no difference because everyone was much better at the game and raid composition didn’t count for jack unless you’re an obnoxious streamer…
