Dunno what happened, but since the last windows 11 update my GPU constantly runs up to 100% usage and then the game crashes with an 132 error. No Hardware changes, no settings changes. Before it was around 60-70%.
I updated drivers, restarted, nothing worked. The only workaround at the moment is to lower settings.
Help would be appreciated.
Hey!
Before Windows 11 update did you make sure your PC fills the minimum requirements? W11 requires a bit better specs than previous Windows 10. It sounds very odd to me tbh. I have been using Windows 11 for like a month and have had zero issues with World of Warcraft.
Does this issue only occur while playing WoW? Have you tried with other games if the similar issue happens? Is your GPU 100% all the time or just during the games?
I’ve been using win11 since release, never had problems with it. Only since latest update on tuesday i think.
Yes, it only happens when playing wow, that’s why i don’t get it either.
From what has been described here, especially the part about this occurring after a Win11 update - I’d probably suggest to start with a clean re-installation of all hardware drivers for the computer. #132 is a somewhat generic crash-report which typically stems from memory conflicts, but we have seen some cases where it was triggered by driver corruption/errors, which in turn isn’t an all too uncommon potential byproduct of OS updates.
If that won’t do the trick: posting the crashlog and the DXDIAG/MSINFO for the computer by uploading them to a file-hosting service (e.g., Pastebin or somesuch) and sharing the link here would allow us to take a closer look at things.
Re-installation didn’t solve the problem.

Thanks for the logs!
Drivers are indeed looking solid, which is good news. Unfortunately, I also have slightly less good news: the crash-log of WoW is filled with references to other applications and addons taking up memory space that should be reserved for WoW, which in turn would indeed cause a #132 crash. It is unclear as to why this would only become an issue after a Windows update (or be related to it in the first place), so it is possible this may just have been coincidental timing.
In terms of troubleshooting, I would recommend with clearing out addons first - there is a very fair chance it’ll solve the problem, and even if it does not it’ll at least create a much “cleaner” environment for further troubleshooting in.
The crashes are gone it seems, gpu still behaves somewhat strange. At least i’m able to play wow normally again :>
