Fps limit doesnt work (Max foreground and max background doesnt work)

General quality slider working weird. when open and close graphic setting page its going lower and lower until it reaches 1 .

Actually going to have to wait for a fix before I can play again unless I can find a work around. I’m not about to burn my hardware out with the game trying to run at 500 FPS in Storm Peaks kek.

Does it do it when you do a full UI reset?
Nice to see I’m not the only one, I was getting crazy. I found my graphic settings lowered after the update so I went and changed them but I saw the game wouldn’t save some settings. I tried a full clean install of wotlk classic, deleting everything. Then tried to run the game with no addons or anything different from the core game. Still everytime I press okay in the graphic option and then go back in, the general graphic slider and both environment and ground clutter sliders move back to one position each time you go back and in.
The only way to effectively save your settings is to modify in a text editor the Config.wtf file and don’t open the graphics settings ingame again…

i tried full reset , clear cache , recommanding settings etc. same results everytime

Same issue here. My graphics settings auto set to something impossibly low.
Impossible to see any ground effects.

Same problem here, graphics settings keep being lowered automatically, plus the frame limiter is not working. Not to mention macros apparently not working, as well as addons… Blizz needs to hotfix it quickly!

So I got a new PC last week and things were great! Today I log in and pretty much everything you guys are saying happened!
Graphics quality slider going down by 1 increment every time i open the system menu. Foreground FPS completely not working!
Needless to say I thought my new PC had an issue and did a full fresh windows install! (yes i tried all the WTF folder, Cache folder, reinstalling, etc. methods)
anywho even after I did a full fresh install, made sure all drivers are installed properly and all that jazz… still got the same issues! I was going insane, and now I feel stupid for not checking the forums first xD

This grafic setting bug/issue actually killed my GPU, Thanks so much blizzard!
If wow killed your GPU it was already dying, sorry to break it to you. And there are ways to force applications to not run over a certant fps no matter if the options work or not (not the easiest thing for everyone but you could have done it in reality)
