How can I remove the glow effect?? I don’t like everything to be shiny! It tires my eyes! 
Blizzard call it an outline and you can turn it off. In graphic settings I think.
Heya! Outline mode is found within System > Graphics > Outline Mode (at the bottom right). You can either reduce the effect or disable it entirely from there!

Hey ‘divine intervention’ blue post guy/gal. The thing is that its not that ‘extra shape’ Outline option at fault.
I haven’t played in like 2-3 years … since WoD and I see there is no option for what was long ago named / called an option with “full glow effect”. I wanted to make it more simple, without the extra lights coming from all directions. Basically I want it dimed / dumbed down, because all the collors seem too intense!!! Do I need to delete a file from somewhere or something?? Because “full screen glow effect” option doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Any idea??
Heya, the console command: /console ffxGlow 0 still works for that - just put that in chat and press enter - you can reset it later if you want with /console ffxGlow 1
