Graphics settings still resets every time I log in [solved]

Every time I start the game I have to configure most graphics settings. The game defaults to 5, with anti-aliasing disabled. While it doesn’t take me more than a minute or so to fix this, it’s annoying to do this every single time.
Any fix to this issue coming soon?

Edit: TL;DR
I was an idiot and accused the 10.0 update for this issue since I knew lots of people had similar problems, but turns out it was in fact an addon, more specifically “Advanced Interface Options”.

Settings not being saved, is often caused by people installing the game in places where the settings can’t be saved due to folder ownership restrictions, for example, the desktop.

So I would check into where you installed the game first.

Considering I’ve had the game installed on the same drive the last 2 expansions without any problems, I don’t think that’s the case. This came with the 10.0 patch.

I double checked the settings for the WoW folder as well, and all rights are active.

If I used Geforce Experience to “Optimize” settings it kinda works, but I have no manual control over each setting, so I have to adjust things anyway

If graphics/audio settings keep on reverting to a previous stage after ending a play session that usually means WoW wasn’t allowed to actually write said settings into the storage file they’re contained in (meaning, any changes made would indeed not carry over past the session they were made in).

In most cases that would be the result of the file/folder being set to “read-only” in Windows - instructions on how to check and change that can be found here.

After double checking all the folder settings and permissions in windows, disabling all addons, deleting WTF and cache and then re-installing addons one-by-one I found the culprit and it was in fact an addon called “Advanced Interface Options”.

Normally I’d just delete the thread, but I think it’s better to let my stupidity and stubborness remain here and maybe help others who are struggling with a similar issue.

My apologies and thank you to those who helped.
