check their policy, server providers usually guarantee 99.8% uptime (when you rent VPS or webhosting), not sure about service providers like blizz.
Blizzard dont rent webhosting 
So the original plan was a coordinated worldwide release at the same time.
Now you have selfmade errors with your server infrastructure but Blizzard does not take the responsibility for that by delaying the release of phase 3 until this promised coordinated launch is secured.
Why is that? Does Blizzard think it is not important for european players to start on the same equal conditions into phase 3 than the rest of the world?
Honestly it feels like we Europeans are just 2nd class customers for you.

Blizzard has always, in the past, compensated players for issues like this where money was paid but service was not granted.
I believe it is only natural to maintain that behaviour

How is this even technically possible? You tested this beforehand, right? You are sure the game clients are loading the appropriate version. And your login servers in EU accept THAT game version, right?!?!
Just call the guy who made phase 2 launch so smooth and give him a stack of benjamins and get this show on the road.

maybe is not great idea publish next patch 2 hrs before phase, when many players trying to rushing login servers.
yes but as a customer, you have some policy you agreed to when you subscribed. refunds and compensations must be mentioned there. so i they mention, we guarantee 99% uptime, its few minutes in a month. if they dont then you dont get shet.

I’m gonna go on a leap here and say that this would most likely have been prevented by performing a maintenace before release time, taking down servers for maybe even just 1h before the phase was supposed to release.
Honestly, at this rate, I’m amazed the whole Blizzard HQ isn’t on fire, let alone that they manage to sometimes turn the servers on…
Why didn’t you postpone the launch of Phase 3 on European servers when most people can’t get into the game?
