Made a new character, got ported to orgrimmar for a quest.
Got one shotted by a level 50 zombie.
Turned into a zombie.
Got one shotted by a guard.
Ghost ran back and ressed at corpse.
Got one shotted by a level 50 zombie.

And now Iām here because I literally cannot play the game. Iām not even allowed to get out of orgrimmar because I keep getting killed and zombiefied and pulled and killed and zombiefied and pushed while trying to get to Chromie or really ANYWHERE OTHER THAN ORGRIMMAR.
This is legit the worst game event in the history of game events. JFC.
There should be no zombie mode in the portal hubs, itās nuts that there is. The amount of grief you, me and others are going to have simply trying to play the game is bad.
Then youāll have plenty of brainlets saying āAvoid SW/ORGā and āPVP isnāt forced onā. Yes it is forced on and the portal hubs are grief spots now. Even if you make it through a portal hub alive, youāve got PVP on for 5 minutes when you load into your new location.
But that doesnāt even include trying to do things on alts without flying in SW/Org where you have to do quests.
The only safe place is your garrison, get to chromie activate wod and get yourself a garrison. I know it sucks, I logged in to a low level horde alt today and was immediately mobbed.
You donāt need to turn on Chromie time to start WOD. You can pick up the starting quest from any war board as long as youāve not just finished Exileās Reach.
You canāt. itās on and no way to keep it off when youāre in those locations. The second you go in there for a Q or like the OP was making a new alt, even to the portal hub to pass through (which is the most important place in SW/org) youāve got unremovable warmode until you get out.
This event is lame. I was hoping it would be opt in warmode only as people were saying it would be, but itās forced on everyone.
For the most part zombies and griefing is little kid territory.
Great idea, except for the whole āIām level 10 and donāt have access to the warmode button yetā.

Thatās what I was trying to do before giving up as I literally could not even get to the war board in between being murdered and DK pulled or whatever the feck was happening to my screen in between dying.
Itās a one time thing people , and it lasts for less than a week , the last time this event happened was before WOTLK. Can we really not have a little bit of disturbance for once while some people are having fun ? Is it really that big of a deal ?
Other peoples fun should not come at the expense of othersā. Itās like saying physical abuse is OK as long as the abuser is enjoying? So all good right? nope.
Iām no cry baby, just someone who doesnāt care for the event or want to deal with the griefers making the lives of people who just want to play WoW normally into hard experiences.
Well you are able to just do that , change to a different city for now or go there when the event isnt on , itās not a 24/7 thing , and as i said it lasts barely a week
this is how alliance feel anywhere outside sw (recently even IN sw due to the high exarch constant raids)
