Dps: ”Listen, here’s what we’re gonna do: We’re gonna wait for Concentrated Flame to get two stacks, we’re gonna CC the healer, stun the dps and pop everything, trinket, essence, you name it. Do you have the bike trinket? Because that’s what I’m using.”
Healer: ”Well, yeah, but I’m a healer…”
Dps: ”Just trust me, okey? Equip it, and let’s go.”
Healer: ”Wait, you got the spike trinket? I have it aswell. Do you want me to use that too?”
Dps: ”Babe, you read my mind.”
Dps: ”Okey, let’s go. Remember the plan.”
Dps: ”Now go! Pop everything!”
Dps: ”Oh my, did you see those three tentacles spawn? Wow, look at that damage!”
Healer: ”Yeah, I saw it. Haha”
Healer: ”Oh, I noticed the two trinkets don’t share cooldown. That’s really good!”
Corruption drastically changes how I play a match. If their healer plays tentacle with a caster, I’m forced to use mobility spells to get rid of it and then be denied uptime. Otherwise I can enjoy that juicy 220k dmg it produces.
Can’t Heroic Throw it because that isn’t strong enough to kill it.
Inb4 “your healer/dps partner can just get rid of it”, the answer is no, because usually that tentacle spawns 80yd away from them.
All of this stuff makes matchups I otherwise feel comfortable playing against a nightmare… and likewise when I pop my tentacle and I get an unexpected win.
