Great Vault ability to refund

Dude, dont be an elitist! Some ppl just cant handle a content with just one confirmation question, so we gotta adapt to the less fortunate.
/s

What a rookie mistake, lol.

And while we are doing that we should also nerf Mythic raiding so even single player Andys can enjoy hardest content in the game!
/s

No way! What about ppl, who lost their hands? Cant discriminate these! Lets give the maw tutorial 230+ rewards. Its a pve content. No raiders will feel the need to do pvp, so everything balanced as all things should be!

You are all digressing now. Nobody has given me a good reason why the ability to refund weekly just after purchase and before equip as with vendors is a bad idea? Just ad hominem attacks and sarcasm… Welcome to wow forums I guess… why even bother replying. Its literally time out of your day wasted.

Why? Because your incompetence is not a good reason :man_shrugging:t2:

Well done sugarplum! I’ve already stated many time my incompetence is fairly evident. You managed to not answer my question. You told me what wouldn’t be a good reason, not what would be a good reason not to implement this. It’s like you are fighting against giving yourself more failsafe’s for the sake of it. I really dont understand. “I want it to stay the way it is because I understand the game and I am not stupid” Well done, good for you, have a cookie. Here’s a medal. The second someone suggests otherwise its hurl abuse time.

i am not against your ability to have a safety net, but i dont want them to interpret it as too confusing or unclear and remove it, like they did last time.

Excuse me for being pragmatic, but not having an ability to taget pvp gear weights more on my imaginary worth weights than your ability to refund items you picked without making sure you are familiar with their restrictions.

There is no problem with the game but with people so it’s a complete waste of time to spend days on coding, implementation, testing, and bug fixing to solve an issue caused by players themselves.

Be smarter.
Do research before acting.
Problem solved.

Topics like these, reminds you why they put “Caution! Hot!” on those plastic coffee cups.

I feel like some people want to redesign everything so they don’t need to have any responsibilities

I feel you are all wildly over-exaggerating . Sabryu has a point and is probably one of the first people to present their argument in a reasonable way, but I dont understand how Blizzard can inerpret this thread as meaning the great vault is confusing.

The great vault is not the source of the confusion… the item restriction was. As for testing a feature… its already in the game! Vendors.

because you chose the gear, confirmed it, and the game asked for a reconfirmation and you accepted it. Which means after confirming it TWICE, you chose it.

Next time, before confirming something twice, make sure it’s the right choice.

Alexima… I’ve already explained why your point is moot. The functionality exists in the game already to implement this. Irrespective of my ignorance, why are you arguing against the addition of a feature that would be 1) simple to implement and 2) benefit you?

Again I restate my question:

“Why are we then unable to refund the choice as we do at the vendor and choose something else within a certain timeframe?”

Your answer of “because you are dumb” does not in any way answer the question above.

because, not everything that benefits me has a place in the game.

I may benefit from a daily 1 million gold straight to my account, or a free piece of gear with each hearthstone use, but doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.

The system is already providing a second confirmation to insure that you didn’t pick something by mistake.

Giving you a timer to rethink the situation would simply allow for abuse of gearing for contents. You want to do a specific run that this trinket works best for but the leg piece you get is a better upgrade? I’ll just do the run right now and then swap it afterwards.

The vault is a weekly choice. And you go for it all the way. Giving freebies or holding your hands and asking 50 different confirmation everytime isn’t what makes this game better in any way.

As a matter of fact, this failed vault attempt, taught you a valuable lesson. Next time, you won’t make the same mistake again. And often times, learning is part of this game too.

It’s not try before you buy, people like yourself is the reason the queue times for tickets are so long - wasting GM’s time.

I cant believe the level of stupidity here.

Im proposing refund in exactly the same manner as vendors. not try before you buy, not run an item then refund it after. Exactly the same mechanism that is in the game RIGHT NOW in the vendors!

Weekly chestgs only had 1 item… you ahve choice here… big difference…

Let me spell this out then as perhaps, im not getting my point across correctly.

System 1: Vendors. Everyone seems happy with this. Choose a piece of gear. Gear goes in your inventory. If you want , you can refund said gear before you equip it for a full refund.

System 2: Great vault. Choose a piece of gear, everyone seems happy with this. Gear goes in your inventory. You cannot refund.

My question is. WHY? Seems they are the same system built on the same tech.

Same, the OP is the worst.
