This should theoretically make more players think about raising their numbers and enter the low level mythic+ scene.

Perhaps a sneaky notification after a heroic dungeon has been done about weekly vault progress, then the player hovers over the preview and it says “complete a dungeon on mythic difficulty to raise reward to x level” etc :stuck_out_tongue: and then one small step after another

Never. Never ever ever doing that.

Mythics are best when you can solo them

 and that’s fine! what i’m thinking is this does both things at once, include everyone fully in the progression system and also plant the thought of “what if”. A sneaky way for blizz to attempt increasing interest.

Big ‘I agree’ to the first part, but I just don’t think that second part of what you’re saying actually works on any noticeable level. Sure there will be the rare person who thinks like that, but the barrier is just too big for the broader audience to ‘take a chance’.

For me for instance: No queue = no deal.

I have no issues with this

Hes got a point, if people start getting stuff in vault they might think “what if i do a +2 for increase the ilv”, just to enter and realise how easy it is.

I tried that. It turned me even more away from it.
But with the vault I may see a sense in doing the weekly heroic.

Good for gearing alts.

I think this will guide people towards m+ and get more people in the keys. Which I think is good for the key scene.

To enter it, is already an issue since it’s ‘blocked by barriers’ that most of those players just don’t want to have to break through. If they did, they’d be doing that kind of content already.

I am convinced that this will undoubtedly prove that people don’t just magically start doing higher content. It just doesn’t happen unless BIG changes are made to that content itself.

Time will tell who’s right.

But from my own personal standpoint: Nothing is going to get me to do M+ as long as there’s no queue. Nothing.

Barriers? All anyone has to do is start a group or join one. It’s easy to get a key going.

You won’t understand if you have no issue with running M+.
But believe me; there’s barriers.

For me for example the problem is not the affixes or the harder the content but the time limit. I am extremly weak to the psychological pressure of a time limit and so the content is not for me. If they would dissolve the time limit or implement it as an affix I could do it but the fact that whole M+ is build on time limit makes it dead content for me.
