whats the point of the great vault giving random replica items ? Like at the start of the season its cool, but at the end its just horrible. Do you know how many times I get the same items that I have from every slot while I never get that one or 2 that I need? Why the randomness? Whats the point of giving me random edited by moderator but not letting me pick what I need? just make it like BRD timewalking raid; I get a token , i get whatever i want with it !!!1

Can’t win every time
Gearing should either be RNG or a Grind / Farm. Problem is today that it’s both. RNG to get the items then a grind to upgrade them.
Neither RNG nor Grind are particularly fun but can be tolerable done moderately and separately. Together they’re just horrible.
And the old “You just want free stuff mailed to you on a silver platter” argument is nonsense.
Some RNG is fine if done with ok drop rate.
Some grinds are fine if you aren’t doing more than half your in-game time on chores to do it.
Having a vendor for gear is probably best. Have RNG for some cosmetics, pets or mounts.
Upgrade currency is fine if it’s balanced. To me it seems like M+ players are swimming in currency and begging for ways to dump it into something useful and open world players are parched and spent months to upgrade a few pieces.
