Correct me if I have this wrong, I’m only human, but the Great Vault states very clearly that you can get to choose from three Raid gear rewards for defeating 3, 6 and 9 nine (Sanctum of Domination) Raid bosses respectively.
Sanctum of Domination has 10 raid bosses. So if two weeks running you succeed in downing 9 raid bosses both weeks, you should get 3 gear pieces to choose from each week. Last week I again downed all Sanctum bosses, except Painsmith Raznal.
So why could I only choose from two piece of gear, the rewards for downing 3 and 6 bosses? If it had happened once I would’ve dismissed it as my mistake, I had only downed 8 bosses or less. However, last night I checked and counted 9 bosses downed and looted, one boss not completed.
This was on LFR, so no big deal, and does that account for it. Must I down the first nine bosses. If I miss 1 boss from and earlier wing but defeat Sylvanas doesn’t it count as a ninth boss defeat?
Maybe one of the wings was already in progress and you didn’t kill all the bosses? I’ve done this in the past, I joined a run for the first wing and as they started on the Eye I didn’t qualify for a vault option because I’d not killed three bosses.
Thanks for the response. I honestly did consider this, but in the dungeons guide the bosses you have downed and cannot loot again are show in red, those that you haven’t participated in defeating are show in yellow.
Last night I had one yellow boss, all the others were red.
Mate! Thank you. I refer you to my results above from looking at the Raid Finder drop down of which bosses I had to down for each wing. This is clearly wrong and has been so twice.
Checked Raid Information on the Raid tab of Social and I allegedly downed Painsmith Raznal and failed to take out Fatescribe Roh-KaloandKel’Thuzad. Since this data chimes with the Great Vault rewards I’m going to follow this and not even look at the Raid Finder wing drop down for information on which bosses I’ve downed.
This part of UI needs a desperate update. It should open a wide screen where one can track the raids they cleared (esp. handful for people clearing old content for mounts / tmogs).
