Great Vault

Okay but are spending any money or gold on the vault? It’s an extra rewards at the end of the week based on content you’ve done. If it becomes the sole way of getting upgrades that sucks and can prob be addressed somehow but to call it gambling is factually wrong

AKA: A transactionary trade of time for goods, something Money is not the root of, but merely an optional tool to facilitate which is not being used in this transaction. I spend my time in a way that they can read it out in metrics so they know what to keep developing their game for, it allows them to see what works and what doesn’t on a macro scale.

Then you did not understand what I meant with my first sentance in my previous post where I stated that for most of human history, time has been considered a much more valueable currency then well, currency.

But fine, we can call it something else then gambling, but that won’t make it stop feeling like gambling, because there is a weekly investment of time that could have been spent otherwise in much the same way one might consider money spent as an investment that could have been spent otherwise.

Money is not the root of trade, it is an auxilirary tool. Energy is the root of money, either energy invested into a job to get the money, or energy invested into creating a product to sell for money, the price in money is simply a representative of energy invested, as such, there is no difference between spending gold or money or time as they are all finite resources, your boss if you have a working wage thinks your time is so valueable for example that they pay you for it, so to pretend there is no correlation is goofy.

Time investment is also energy, leading to the famous goblin quote of time = money, that saying isn’t just a saying in wow, it’s a saying that’s older then written history and exists in many languages

Aren’t you spending real money to do the content?
Having a sub + buying the expansion + time on game .
You spend like 200 Euro per year on WoW and only .

Imagine spending 200 Euro on a product that doesn’t provide satifaction

Do you have to spend extra to get the vault or is it included in the base sub? Ok I’m basically arguing semantics at this point but either way the vault isn’t a bad thing
