You have stated different timers when these two events starts.
In game it says that it starts 06:00 on 2nd of July for both events.
On your recent article (https://news.blizzard.com/en-gb/article/24213953/stop-greedy-goblins-and-get-diabolical-goodies-starting-1-july) that is for EU, it is stated that it starts at 1 July at 16:00 BST. Please Clarify.

I don’t know if we’ll see an official response in time, it may just be a case of find out.
It could be that it’s with our reset or that it’s with US reset making it the afternoon tomorrow for us.
Reset time weekly
US = Tuesday (July 1)
EU = Wednesday (July 2)

Yes but the confusion lays with the EU article and differing times. 
It will probably be on our reset yes.

It’s always a day after US.
The news on this site are always copy oasted from US and they don’t even bother changing the date in the post.
