I really dont understand this event even with WowHead guide.
It says every 30 mins in SW, Org, Dornogal, then after 5 mins it spawns. Be in Zone to see the map icon. Well on my mage between 2.30-2.34 i travelled to all locations and not one icon on the maps and no portals??
Because wowhead is (currently) wrong, it’s only once an hour at :00 (well, the portal spawns at :00 and then 5 minutes later the goblin(s) do). You can see the portal spawn time when you’re in the city (Dornogal, Orgrimar, Stormwind) but you can’t see it if you’re in, say, Durotar
Dropwise are these different from the ones in Undermine?
Nope. They’re the same.
If you can go to Undermine it’s the best place, every rare killed can spawn the portals. So they are up all the time in the zone.
For me it wasn’t. I hated being there. I hated having to ride around that awful place, often being late because I refuse to use that horrible car. It was a dreadful experience for me. 
Thankfully I got what I wanted quickly.
Got the hunter set. Got all the drops except the mount, but I’m not bothered with that one. So I’ll just do content and get some chests the coming month. And if I happen to be close to Dornogal on top of the hour, I’ll do a portal.
The mobs are just up the most. They all have a spawn timer so you can usually get to it in time to tag.
I appreciate not enjoying the G99.
