First ever post on a wow forum so sorry for anything I do wrong haha!
As the title states I’m struggling on the green fire quest chain, or specifically; Kanethrad.
My main question is, can I do this at level 44?
I seem to do very little damage to him (300k health) but his dots take half of my health in one tick. While I know I’m supposed to let the pit lord dispel it for me and charge his casts as soon as I need to re-enslave him I just die very quickly even with unending resolve healthstone etc.
All the guides I’ve watched are from 7 years ago with maxed characters, even one where asmongold takes off half his gear to make it easier lol.
Why not just do it at 60, I mean there is no point In making it hard on yourself, I remember doing this back in mop season 1 with PvP gear, it was absurdly hard to be honest harder than mage tower was in legion (maybe because of the gear). But yea in my opinion just do it on 60 should be easier
Looks like that’s my only option. A guide I watched said you can do the quest at level 35 which seems like bullsheet to me. Paid A lot of gold for that tome xD I can wait!
As Apsou said above, this was incredibly challenging during MOP, but equally rewarding. We had to use so many of the tools in our kit to get it done; I spent a good hour or two wiping on it!
You could wait til you’re 60 and just steamroll it, but if you have the time and patience you’ll find it rewarding to do the fight as it was intended (assuming none of the required tools have been removed! I can’t remember). Either way, the gold and effort is well worth it for that sweet green fire
Yep, flashbacks of stress just thinking about all the enslaves, fears and banished required! Lots to manage and everything needs to be done at the right time or, like you said, it’s game over.
