A player joined my m+ keys and deliberately left before the first pull after spamming chat and the key was downgraded. I need my keystone restored.
I am afraid, its not against the rules, and your keystone will not be restored or refunded.
In any case, the forums are unable to do anything, you would have had to ask in a ticket in-game.
The only thing they can be banned for is inappropriate chat.
Griefing is against the CoC, it’s clearly stated. There is no in game ticket option, how to get it?
Leaving a mythic group is not considered griefing though. Hence the reason there is no option for it in the tickets.
As dottie said, the only thing they would get them for is inappropriate chat.
Hi,
The CMs on this forum will not be able to help you in any way. The CM team and GM team is not interconnected. They are like water and oil.
Instead make a ticket ingame, with the player’s name, actions and time when it happened. Then tell the GM in the ticket what happened and why you are reporting the other party.
While you will not get your key restored; you will perhaps see that the GMs agree that the other was behaving against the myriad of agreements we sign to play WoW. Be it community guidelines, Terms of Service or the Social Contract.
Hopefully that answers all your questions and how you can sort it out.
Best of luck in your next key!
You do know that the community guidelines are rules that you cannot be punished for breaking?
Also a ticket would be useless in this case so the OP shouldn’t make one.
Hey Phern,
I’m sorry to hear that your key was downgraded after this happened to you.
While Customer support cannot modify mythic keys, we can take the appropriate suspensions against players who solely join groups in order to ruin them. You can find more information below.
Please note that players leaving a group (whatever the reason is - outside of the above scenario) is not against the rules.
Good luck with your next dungeons, I hope that everything goes well!
I will amend my previous post saying that if they did post saying there are going to spoil the run then you should make a ticket but if they didn’t then you shouldn’t make one.
Don’t forget to put all the details you can into a ticket if you make one.
