What are they farming? Just curious.
Gold obviously. The dungeon has many mobs, and u can pull all of them without resetting them. I tested it out, each full clear takes 2-3 mins, and the mobs overall give around 300gold each run. Now that means, every 30 min its around 3k gold (10 runs before CD cos entered to many dungeons).
If you go with 5 bots, you get 15k gold over 30 min.
That is not an outstanding gold gain. You could get around 10k in an hour in Vale before it was nerfed. I think even open world farm in BfA yields more than that. Seen plenty of bots doing it.
Is that how it works? I was under the impression that Legacy Loot Mode for pre-Legion instances makes things drop in the same amount regardless of group size, tgen divided evenly between the members of said group.
Probably, but you can encounter other bots there, while there its locked and only yours.
I think each bot enter their own dungeon alone if all 5 of them enter together, that would mean loss of gold.
They do not enter as a party.

Just spent around 10 mins at the enterance. THey are moving/jumping the very same place each time. Hilarious ^^
And how these bots ruined your game? By killing some mobs? 
You can hit them and still get a kill/item for the quest or whatever you are doing in there.
They kill the game by owerflow the game with gold, very same with gathering herbs in nazjatar.
And botting still againts ToS, just to remember you.

By impacting overall server economy via means that are explicitly prohibited by the ToS. This is like you arguing people are free to steal whatever they like with no punishment as long as they don’t steal from you personally.
That being said, there has been no evidence presented as of yet that anyone is engaging in any activity prohibited by the ToS, everything presented up to this point could very well be people engaging in multiboxing, and as we know thanks to Captain Extra Chromosomes over there,
