So as the title says, I got a 220 Grim codex in my weekly vault. I’m mostly interested in M+, and with 1:30 mins cd, it looks like it might be usable every other pull, or so. Does it perform decently with warrs? My other option is 216 Sin Stained Pendant, which some say it’s BiS for Fury.
As of some context: I have a 197 Aspirant PvP trinket, and the 207 Muckformed chain choker, which has versa crit.
Is it better than your current trinkets? Probably. But is it a good trinket? Na it sucks. The problem is that most trinkets have a certain level of suck about them, you should use raidbots to sim (run patchwerk + hectic add cleave and try different combat durations like 2min, 4min, 5min) just to compare with what you have.
Quantum device is the best trinket so long as it lines up, but some of the world quest 194 1min30s on-use trinkets are also really good (like Wakener’s Frond with the massive haste on use), the PVP trinkets are good if you have a decent ilvl, the Plaguefall stacking poison trinket is decent, Stone Legion Generals trinket is alright too.
216 haste/mastery neck is definitely a nice upgrade. Do some sims.

And it’s as good as your weak aura to track it. Yesterday on Sludge it said “execute” when it came back up, nothing happened, so I’m assuming it gave mana to a healer…
This trinket is mostly a 1 time use during raiding and I need to get a better WA.
In M+ though? It’s goooood!
