Grind reputation or wait SL to unlock Void Elf?

I wanted to play Void Elf - Warlock, but I don’t have any Allied races unlocked yet. So I leveled my mage first to be able to grind reputation to unlock the Void Elf, so I would be able to create and level my warlock before SL.

But recently I discovered, that reputation are not required anymore to unlock Allied races (only achievement, which I’ve got).

Will getting exalted with Argussian reach take much time and I should just wait for SL, or is it not that hard and I will be able to unlock Void Elfs and reach him lvl 50 before SL comes out?

We had now pre-patch and unlocked all allie races.

All the reputation requirements have been removed.
