Grommash Hold phasing issue

I get phased into Grommash Hold with Sylvannas and Warlord Breka Grimaxe.
I can the accept the quest “Warming Up”, which is the first quest when you choose exiles reach when logging in with a new character.

I need to speak to Sylvannas to continue my war campaign.

Some help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same issue currently, I opened a ticket but got told to unlock the vulpera but I have all the allied races unlocked already.

I have a theory that the people who are affected by this are all zandalari trolls as all other people complaining about this seem to be zandalari as well.

Yeah i was doing some googling and they all stated i needed to unlock the allied races.

So i did.

Then i was wondering if the Zandalari questline could be in the way so i finished the whole zandalar questline.

Still phasing into the same scene in Grommash Hold.

And indeed I am a level 50 Zandalari Druid.

Any of you found a solution? i have the same problem! i talk with a gm and he was unable to help me. i am afraid that this will mess up my shadowlands experience if i have to turn any quest in grommash hold

Hey folks,

Typically abandoning and picking up the quest again will solve this. However, for some of you that may not be the case. If this doesn’t fix the issue, please create an in-game ticket so we can look into your character. ^^

Hey all! i justed wanted to make an update! after talking with a gm, the problem is now resolved for me ! :smiley:

After getting out of Exiles Reach, i continued the tutorial in Ogrimmar and a quest bugged. As a result i have no npcs in Grommash Hold and i cant continue my questing. Can someone help me?

i did make a ticket but the gm didn’t fix this issue for me and im still having issue till now its been 3 months :slight_smile:

The exiles reach questchain still ends with gromash hold being put in the bfa phasing where warlord brekka talks to sylvanas… and there gromash hold is stuck.
even tho the actual quest now send us to dragonflight.
i suggest blizzard looks into their programming instead.

Every new account first character is getting this bugged phase because you’re forced to Exiles starting area instead of choosing race area/exiles area.
More info: vulpera allied race questchain doesn’t fix the problem. All of allied races chains are done and bugged phasing is still here.
It’s major bug and it isn’t on player’s end.

Hint update: you still can finish Cycle of Hatred, you’ll need

  • QuickQuest addon (auto accept/finish quests)
  • bind “interaction with npc” button
  • stay near wall inside (phase will change to correct one) OR on the throne/nearby it (same effect)
  • target Sylvannas
  • blink/use instant movement ability like jump etc to her and start hitting interaction keybutton

It gives you a bit more time between phase changing in prime time when city is full of players (in my experience at least).

Needs testing: syncro with low lvl friend who dont started on Exiles island. It works for changing Grommash hold phase, but need to find right Chromie time/quest progression for Sylvannas to be there, all other npc seems to be there.

If players find this early on in leveling, the fix is to reroll your character and NOT start in exiles reach.

A little update: Jade forest starting quest can’t be done too. At all. Even trying to switch phases standing near walls/throne inside hold - you are getting phase without Nazgrim at all.
