What a nice looking mount. Yesterday I was looking forward so much to flying it, only to find out it is a Dragonflight mount, meaning you can only use it in this specific continent. Meh.
I mean, it does state that it is a dragonriding mount when you mouse over it on the travellers log

Donāt worry, Dragon riding will be implemented in the rest of Azeroth soon and you will be able to use your shark-dragon thingy eventually everywhere!

Are players suppose to know everything?
Honestly, except for going to Orgrimmar for the Trading Post, Darkmoon Faire or heading to a M+ Dungeon, I donāt think I have stepped foot outside of the Dragon Isles for any reason.
But as others have said, there was never any mistake that this was supposed to be anything other than a Dragonriding mount.

Everything is in the game a player should know
But in this case, it is spelled out āDragonriding mountā in your mount collection and was communicated it will be a dragonriding mount - even if you missed this, you can read and can see what it isā¦
If it is there for the players to read thenā¦ yes

They should really just implement that ā¦ what was it? ādynamicā and āstaticā flying?
Iām sick of having to use ugly mounts in the Dragon Isles.

I wish we could afk mid air on our dragonriding mount.

That doesnāt even factor into it for me.
Itās mostly just that Iād like to fly a mount that I actually like the look of.
But vigor also just isnāt fun while doing outdoor content or gathering.

It should have been an option from the start.
It would change nothing for those who love dragonriding, but change everything for those who donāt. Itās just classic Blizzard forcing players to play the game the way THEY want you to. Happened countless times before and will probably continue to happen until the end of days. āBlizzard knows betterā. 
Hell; itās happening in 10.1.5. AGAIN with releasing the megadungeon as mythic only.
Need to play the way Blizzard wants you to; because having a choice is bad??!!!

Why should players know what Dragonriding is anyting else but flying a dragon?
You are posting from a level 70 character, donāt try and pretend you donāt know what dragonriding is 
The info about the mount was clearly there in black and white for everyone to see. The mount hasnāt cost anything but a bit of time which most people would have spent for the 700 tender anyway.
If you arenāt trolling at this point you are just complaining for the sake of complaining.

I often run out of stamina while dragon riding and itās really immersive to have to glide sometimes. This type of travelling really makes the world of warcraft feel bigger for me. I donāt like how we afk fly in old content
Probably need to add tons of animations to existing models etc. I wouldnāt be suprised if we never got old models with dragonriding. Just a thought tho.
Well itās likely that dragonriding mounts will be capable of static flying, possibly soon. They have the animations in the game and static and dynamic flystyle buffs were datamined in the PTR I believe. Itās not being added this patch but surely one day.
