Why is Blizzard still adding non-flying mounts to the game, if they are completely useless.
Sure, you can use them in new expac or in non-flying zones, but when you go somewhere else you have to switch to flying mount, which is just not comfortable and it´s just easier and more rewarding to use flying mounts whole time.
I have 2 possible solutions to make ground mounts worth it to use.

Simply let ground mounts walk faster than flying mounts, even by stupid 1%, so switching mounts would feel rewarding somehow.

Disable flying mounts in non-flying zones.

How are they useless? We are grounded for the first half on an expansion and we can’t fly in instanced content.

But you can do same with flying mounts, and after instance you are getting out of it sitting still on your ground mount. Therefore i am using flying mounts in instance, because works same and i dont have to switch after instance is over. Same with first half of expansion. You are going through portal out of (ex.) shadowlands, and you are somewhere on your ground mount. You have again to switch if you want to fly. So why shall i switch if i can simply be whole time on my flying mount?

Just because you personally don’t use something doesn’t make it useless. Or are raids and M+ useless because I don’t play them?

Actually im not opposed to that ground mounts being faster on land than flying mounts idea. Ofc this should be disabled in instanced content such as Battlegrounds etc.

Seriously guys you dont feel worse while using your favourite mount, which cant fly and dont have any other advantages over flying mounts?
I am using ground mounts all the time . For example while i wait for someone to arrive at meeting stone or whatever ,simply because i prefer small mounts.
My favourite mount flies.
Wait is there a mount equipment thingie to make ground mounts flying ones ?

Battleground/arena vanity is what comes to my mind
Wouldn’t you like flying yak ? 
Basically, after few second of thinking about it, it may have sense to get some magic equipment which allow our ground mounts fly (such as cloud under their legs)
