Ground targeting spells sometimes activate immediately

Hi,
I noticed something strange since 10.0.

Ground targeting spells sometimes activate immediately without a mouse click necessary, e.g. Death And Decay, Shadow Crash, Heroic Leap, Deep Breath.
I deactivated all addons for testing and I don’t use macros for these spells.
I also took my hand completely off my mouse to make sure I am not clicking by accident.

Any suggestions?

Hi Balbi,

I had the same issue. It was resolved when I disabled the new “Press and hold casting” in options.

This is not in one of the areas of the elementals is it? I have noticed my paladin ability effects seem to lag behind by up to a minute during the major encounters and then they continue to appear once I have stopped fighting.
