Group loot in LFR

I think its safe to say that this experiment is a resounding failure in all regards. Every single time there are people with 610+ ilvl pieces needing on items that they clearly dont need in that same sslot. How is such an ilvl discrepancy even allowed? I can understand if youre rolling for set pieces in slots you do not currently have one, even with the ilvl difference, but not at all for normal items where there is no foreseeable way in which that can be an upgrade.

Remove it or reform it. It is not fun to lose to people that dont even want the item. There is also a dedicated transmog roll option if you want to use that excuse.

Its crazy that Blizzard did not forsee such an obvious outcome.

People needing on LFR loot even when they have better…
I lost 2 staffs just now to people already having 606 ilvl staffs. 1 of them left after kill and 1 do not answer.

That’s a you problem guys, just get good or change game. Cause apparently community seems to be ok with that. The 2 times i mentioned in a lfr with my alt that a guy with 626 needed on a 584 item they got mad at me and reported me cause i used a “f” word.
So i guess it’s ok to ninja things and waste other ppls time and chance to gear alt as long as you don’t use bad words.

It’s more a case of if you can’t beat them, join them. Either you accept that in PUGs there are no enforced bad reasons to press need, or you can enjoy a pass button that has three different icons.

I’ve stopped pugging.

Well you kinda can. If ppl start kicking ninjas it might change or at least make blizz realize that smt is wrong and ppl kick that much.
Previous week i was in a normal palace run, after 1st boss a guy pointed out that a warr needed on an item that he didn’t need cause he had a hc in that slot, probably to sell it. The guy at first didn’t talk but after leader said that he doesn’t like that, he wanted a smooth run and he’s going to replace ppl for that reason, that guy stated that he didn’t know that ppl need it (who needs items on the 2nd week of a raid, right? or why bother with /loot to check the needs) and he can trade to w/e needs.

The problem is bigger in LFR. Yes i know LFR is joke and ppl don’t take it srs, it shouldn’t even be there and blablabla. Still, it’s a good way to gear alts (IF ppl don’t ninja items for xmog or gold) especially since elitists need almost 600ilvl even for m0.
And here comes what i said b4. Community is fine with someone ninja-ing just to sell or get a new xmog instead of vote kicking that guy and force him to stay in LFR que for the rest bosses, but get mad if you use a bad word that would make their parents mad or smt. And it’s even more funny that, in my case, it wasn’t even towards them. Some ppl got mad at me cause i called another guy [insert bad word that offends snowflakes or forum mods] ONCE and a few minutes later i got an ingame warning.

I totally Agree 100% Blizzard need to fix this asap! I was in a group today and someone 606+ won a trinket and immediately puts in chat WTS (Said Item) Such a joke!

Just tell people to report it as spam, a mild silence ban does wonders.

You cannot lose something that wasn’t yours to begin with.

With personal loot, you would still not have those staves.

With Group Loot, there was a >0% chance that one the eligible looters will pass on the staff, because they don’t “need” it.
