Group of friends looking for a new home

3 players looking for a new guild, somewhere to call home:-Gormac (hunter), Deadgrumpy (prot warrior (Fury offspec)) and myself Luctish (resto druid) all with previous experience and some head of the curve achievements. We are looking for a casual raiding guild, to enjoy M+, raiding and having a good laugh and chat! We can’t be online everyday as we have quite busy lives outside of WoW. Myself with a family of 2 children and a husband who doesn’t play :open_mouth: ! Gormac and Deadgrumpy have full time jobs and partners also.
We would be willing to change servers for the right guild.

Previous experience includes:-
Uldir HC (ahead of the curve)
BoD:- 6/9 HC
And currently 7 bosses on Normal The Eternal Palace

We would like to raid 2 days a week and if the guild do activities out with raids, such as old content achievement runs etc, that’s an added bonus!

If you would like to ask anymore questions, you can add me on

Hello there!

Pipe Dream wants you!!!

…Potentially, like let’s chat first and stuff.

TLDR of Pipe Dream

We are a heroic raiding horde guild on Boudlerfist, Currently re-forming after a slight break. We cleared 2/8 mythic Uldir before our break.

Our aim is to be a heroic only raid guild, clearing content at a competitive rate and moving onto glory raid chieves when we have it on farm. Whilst also being a strong hub for mythic + where like minded individuals can farm keys every week without being pressured in to pugging. But honestly the main aim is to build a community worth bragging about and a family that feels like home.

Raid: We have just come back from a break and due to small returning numbers we are leading pug raids on our raid days to drum up interest and continue the gearing process whilst we recruit.
Experience needed: We would like it if you had at least normal raiding experience but honestly we are willing to help anyone of all levels just as long as it does not impact the whole team!
Age: We’re a mature guild, meaning we mainly recruit people age 18+.
Raid Days/Times: Wednesday (8:30 server time to 11:30 server time) and Sunday (from 7 server time to 10 server time)
Recruitment: Recruiting all classes and specs at the moment.

Thanks for reading and we hope to hear from you soon.

I read a lot of posts in these forums … most of them I scroll past as they’re obviously not after what we can offer … some I read and think “well, perhaps …” … honestly it kinda sounds like you read up on us before you posted, and then just described us :stuck_out_tongue:

I think the only thing that might not fit, is the fact that we’re on a different realm. I know you said you’re willing to switch … but I’m from Yorkshire, UK … and we’re proud of not spending money when we don’t have to! :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyhoo … a bit about us. Dark Wolves is a Horde guild on the joint realms of Lightbringer/Mazrigos. We’re an 18+ guild … and our average age is, erm, a tad older  Most of us have families, dependants, busy social or work lives, or all of the above, and play WoW just to relax and socialise a bit.

We raid, casually, between one to three times a week, depending on the time of year and who is around. We usually raid twice a week, Wednesday and Friday between 21:30 and midnight server time (so 8.30pm to 11pm UK time).

We sometimes manage to get Ahead of the Curve, but don’t get bent out of shape if we don’t … we concentrate on Normal and Heroic raiding because it’s more flexible and less stressful than Mythic raiding.

We raid to have fun, kill a few bosses (if we’re lucky), and get a bit of loot - but primarly just to relax. Currently 6 bosses into Normal Eternal Palace.

Wednesdays are busier for raiding … usually 15-25 raiders at the moment - at the start of an expansion we’re usually getting 30. Friday’s we have less … sometimes only just scraping enough up for a group. And if we don’t, we’ll often go and do something else - weekly dungeons, etc, that type of thing.

One of the officers occasionally organises a “social Sunday” raid which starts and ends earlier, which is usually the level/raid prior to the main raid we’re on, for achievements, experience and a bit of a lark. Although he’s currently just moved house (and country!) so those are on hold at the moment.

We have no attendance requirements for raids … we stick the events up on the calendar and if people want to go, and fulfil any gear requirements (currently 400+ ilevel for Normal EP) they just sign up. We operate a first come, first served policy, although usually manage to fit everyone in who wants to go

A lot of us are major altaholics, so we have flexibility for role coverage - and a wide range of knowledge and experience between us.

We don’t all raid. We have a lot of members who never raid; who used to raid but don’t anymore; who raid only occasionally as life permits - we’re also happy to have people along who have never raided before - it’s all a learning experience

We can’t guarantee no drama … we do have a “no drama” policy … but then that’s like saying there’s no bullying in schools. The only thing we can do is have an open policy - if anyone has any problem, we ask that it is shared rather than let fester and build. We have a great Officer team, all of whom are relaxed, friendly, happy to help and can think about things calmly.

We do encourage honesty … the main thing that causes drama is people not being honest. I mean … obviously most of the guild members are super-models with high paid jobs or have won the lottery … but the important stuff … the stuff that affects others … we expect honesty with others and with themselves. Mainly things like, in a group, 'fessing up if you mucked up, rather than blaming someone else.

As far as the social side of things … we chat in guild, in-game … but it’s not non-stop chat. We might spend hours not speaking in guild as we’re doing other things (like not dying, trying not to get lost … important stuff). Other times we’ll spend ages talking … recently we had a conversation that lasted nearly a week … about pancakes :stuck_out_tongue:

We use Teamspeak virtually solely for guild raids. We use discord for voice chat occasionally, but not regularly, mainly during dungeon runs, achievement runs, etc.

Our discord server is more like an extension of guild chat (we got a LOT of pancake photos on there recently!). We also have a Facebook page, Twitter and a website, where we have our guild application, guild rules and loads of information about us. We also put information on the website forums about upcoming raids/events.

Wow … sorry … I don’t half blather on sometimes … okay … I think I’ve said enough for now. If this sounds of interest to you, please check out our website for more information and, if you wish, to apply: www.darkwolves.eu

I mentioned our Discord earlier … we welcome guests there too, so if you want to join and ask questions or just check out those pancake photos … feel free: https://discord.gg/gQ2uBGe

Updated post

Nope, dis is not working

Hey there

I’m not sure if Alliance is an option, but I’m part of a friendly, family-style and fun little guild called The Forgotten Few on alliance side Arathor/Hellfire.

I like your post, and it seems a nice match with our “real life comes first” motto and relaxed but get-stuff-done ethos.

I put out a recruitment post earlier, so will just link rather than spamming you:
https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/a-arathor-hellfire-recruiting-friends-guildies-and-raiders/63777

There’s a ton of information on the discord server linked within that post.

Best of luck with your search regardless, and enjoy the rest of bfa.

Oops. posted on the wrong Panda (I have a panda problem:smile:). The above is from this character, who is actually in fact a member of a guild:joy:

Hey.

We could use some reinforcement for our casual raid guild on Zenedar/bladefirst/frostwhisper. We do have crossrealmers who raid with us aswell.

We are mature players with familys and other obligations aswell.

We raid Sunday+Monday 1900-2230 gmt. But we debate/vote raid times before each new raid tier.

We are are 5/8 hc and we do not have plans on doing mythic this tier.

We allways get curved. Usually we progress through heroic and clear it a couple of times before taking a raidbreak untill next tier.

We are progressing The Queen’s Court tonight if you wanna try an evening of raid with us. We had a a low % pull last night.

Hey Rytree from Progression - draenor[H] here
We’re a small crew after forming a little raiding comunity and when i read your post i thought you guys would be perfect for us. Myself and a few RL/ Ingame friends met along the travels have just rebooted a guild and would love to get you guys in.
We’re all people with busy ish social/work lives and we just raid for fun, We spend most nights on discord talking sh@#t and having fun with keys, islands, giving out that we have to do dailies, all the standard stuff. Although we are recruiting for a raid team we find it more valuable to recruit for the community as a priority!

We are going raiding two nights a week Monday and thursday evenings from 8pm-10pm UK time. and get curve at a minimum each teir, with minimal amount of stress involved. IF this sounds like something your interested or have any questions or even wanna chat on discord give me a shout and ill get you into our server for a chat.
