Has anyone done any testing on the Glacial Spike spec on the PTR?
Would like to know how it’s doing in comparison to the Ice Lance specs, as I’m getting a bit bored of spamming tonnes of piddly ILs on live, I’m hoping that chunky GSs will be a viable alternative.
GS is significantly better, you want it in every build
They aren’t 2 different builds now, ice lance give icicles and glacial extends thermal void.
Is there not a build that uses Ice Lance and some of the AoE talents on the left while a GS build would largely be using the talents on the right and center?
Thinking Comet Storm, Freezing Winds, Glacial Assault and Coldest Snap with Chain Reaction for an Ice Lance build, while a GS build would ignore Chain Reaction and maybe take Ray of Frost and Cryopathy?
Honestly, I just watched a preheat vid and he said it was likely to be used in both dungeons and raid I think. Everytime I start taking a deep dive they tune things lol.
