Guaranteed rank 3 weapon devotion enchantments - how?

I’ve looked high and wide throughout the specializations and I can’t, in any way, shape or form, potentially reach the required skill to craft a weapon devotion enchantment at rank 3, guaranteed.

For example, in the case of Sophic Devotion: Enchantment 30/30 gives 40 Skill Points, Primal 50/50 gives 65SP, Sophic 10/10 gives 15SP, the Illustrious Insight give 30SP, Rods, Runes, and Ruses 40/40 gives 65SP, Inspired Devotion 30/30 gives 15SP, Insight of the Blue 50/50 gives 15SP, Primal Extraction 40/40 gives 10SP, Draconic Disenchantment 40/40 gives 25SP, the profession gear gives 22SP and the Enchanting Skill another 100SP. The total is 402 Skill Points for Sophic Devotion, while the recipe difficulty sits at 425.

What am I missing?

Finishing reagent gives +30 skill, probably that?

You have to destroy one Awakened Order right before crafting to get buff, read what Primal Extraction 40/40 text says.

i have sophic and devotion max rank

go for +skills in other tree’s

the illustrious insight is the finishing reagent

awesome! thank you!!! any idea what skill value it gives?

This is the problem. You are kinda forced to spec into inspiration procs and rely on those. And since insp procs give such a HUGE skillbonus it kinda makes regular skill nodes redundant after reaching a skill lvl where inspiration procs gets you quality 3. Also what is flooding the market in quality 2 crafts at under craftingcost prices AND driving the huge difference in price for q2 vs q3.

See this is one the reasons why this Specialisation system is so trash!

I’m trying to be the best at Weapon enchant. So I spec into Weapon enchants.

Now why should I have to spend an extra 50 points in a completely separate tree to get another talent to be the best at these enchants.

The problem I have now, is that it will take Weeks to get those 50 points. 50 points for some reason I can’t move away from where I don’t need them, to put them somewhere better and more suited to what I need.

Just let me respec my talents!

There are no guides to these systems which explain what each skill point does, and even Blizzard have recognised that the whole UI for professions doesn’t really explain things well. I’m really starting to lose my cool with how bad this system is. I’m so disappointed.

According to some sites - u can get +10 skill after shatter

So probably u NEVER can rich max rank for high end goods for many profession. Professions rely on INSPIRATION heavily. So every one who planing to lvl up crafting profession should as first invest 30 talents into inspiration. Without inspiration u will always lie under bench.

Good this or bad? This is rule of the game. If u accept this - u are above else.

Worst part of it - only PTR players knew it.

You get +25 skill after shatter with 40 points in Primal Extraction.

Have you gotten enchants for your profession gear? (I assume you’re already using highest-quality profession gear)

You can get +inspiration enchants for profession gear, which doesn’t solve your problem outright, but might slightly skew the odds in your favour.

Inspiration really is too strong. For my enchants for example I have 2 options:

  1. Put 100 knowledge towards being good at one type of enchant (chest/rings, cloak/bracers etc). This will not give enough skill for a guaranteed quality 3 so you need an inspiration proc.
  2. Or just put 40 points into inspiration. You still need an inspiration proc, but if you get it you can craft quality 3, AND you have a way higher chance to get one.

So to sum up: inspiration build has better results, 40% of the knowledge investment, better range of craftable goods (since it isnt pidgeonholed into just chest/rings etc). Its really rediculously unbalenced.
