Hi All! I realized in this month that the mage tower appearances one of the most popular theme in the game currently. I spoke with so much peoples about it and I decided to make an in game community for ideas. The suprisingly highlightened thing was the guardian druid mage tower appearance form because the “cave bear” form use an unique model and there’s no simmilar obtainable form currently that working with this model. We would like to see back the an obtainable “cave bear” form in the future if it possible. It would be great for the druid players. It would provide more possibilities to express yourself as a druid because the obtainable transmogs for the other classes give a more various customisation options than the druid forms.

Ye they should bring back the old ZG mounts to devalue them. They should make Tyraels charger a 1 copper vendor mount. They should make long boi mount be purchased from a vendor again. They should make everyone able to just get the scarab lord mount once again.
I mean, these items are valuable because they are literally rare items. Why bring back something that obviously was exclusive? I personally want scarab mount, Tyraels Charger and many Mage Tower appearances. But that would mean devaluing them. So no I don’t want them to be obtainable.
Stop trying to make unique things not unique. If you played back then and got it, congratulations! If not, be there to buy the next thing that will become unique in a few expansions. I regret not buying a long boi for instance, but its my fault.

I hope to see it as a feature of Legion timewalking. Mage tower open for a week twice a year, scaled down to be as challenging as it was then before we outgeared it. I got some of the ones I wanted when it was current but there’s still a bunch I didn’t get simply because I wasn’t playing those classes at the time.

How are you druids not satisfied yet?
Your entire class has the most customizable options in the entire game.
That’s not going to work since alot of the abilities that was used to complete them have been removed?

Hunters and their pets. Druids got a few skins with Legion a while back but hunters lots of new pets every expansion, and sometimes hunter specific ones.

True. I didn’t think of that. But there’s plenty of time to figure out a way to bring it back. The encounters could be slightly redesigned or adjusted to accommodate for the changes made since then and any changes that might come in the future. Legendary effects or any current expansion effects could be inactive inside the Mage Tower to avoid accidentally trivializing it.
I think it could make Legion timewalking in particular much more interesting and rewarding than any other, where most of us just run the 5 dungeons for the weekly quest and forget about it, if even. I see no issue with bringing it back as long as it’s not trivial.

Thing is you can get a lot of the the things you just listed on the BMAH if you want it badly enough, it might cost the gold cap but you can still get it if you want to spend the time grinding gold for it.

I am kind of okay with things like the mage tower rewards being no longer accessible. I never had the chance to get them, but in the end it’s good to have some level of exclusive rewards for players who played at that time. That’s how gaming stories are created. I wouldn’t call the mage tower fomo garbage, as there was so much time to get these things that if someone had even a slight interest in the game, they could get them.
Ultimately, players who want to have everything in a live game like this should stick to it.
I didn’t get it. I was playing WoW at the time, I had this character, but I wasn’t a good enough player to do mage tower.
I don’t want it brought back because it isn’t fair to people who put in the time and effort to get it when it was available, knowing it was limited.

I wouldn’t mind if they reskinned the model and made that available to players. It seems stupid that they’re keeping it exclusive considering that they added new animations to it not that long ago.

Honestly, given the fact that the best druid forms are an alliance exclusive skin for fat humans, it’s somewhat understandable.
I’d trade my mage tower bear for Kultiras Druid forms any day of the week.

I played at the time and I got appearances for 4 different specs, and I couldn’t care less if others who didn’t get any would have the chance to get them for two weeks a years. There’s a bunch I’d still like to get myself.
I don’t see it being very different from mythic raid mounts becoming rare drops after the expansion is over. The only difference would be that this would still be challenging hopefully.
I don’t get people losing their minds over others being able to get something they’ve got in the past. Especially in the case of Mage Tower appearances. Besides the artifact appearance, it was a very well designed feature that deserves to be played. Let people experience something good and get something out of it. Priding yourself on having something that’s fairly mediocre like this and being so against giving others a chance to get it is stupid imho.

Harambear sadly got nerfed, the size is much smaller than when it was first available. So you just look like like a steroided bear who skipped leg day.
I respect that the Mage Tower appearances are Time Locked away, and so they should remain so.
But there are so many recolours of Sets and Appearances in the game files from all times of the game which have never been implemented, and I would love to see them brought back into the game some how.
There was a Recolour of the Darkshore Warfront armor sets which were arguably the best recolour version which never appeared in the game. I would love to get my hands on that some how.
Dilemma implies there is a choice to be made.
There is no choice, the appearance is not available, simple as that.
Also one of my biggest pet peeves is when an individual pretends that they’re talking on behalf of a body of people.

Forget it, people don’t wanna see others having their “unique” appearances. Don’t ask me why.
It’s like me wishing my neighbor doesn’t get a garden just like mine. Who cares xD
