Guardian Druid is in a bit of a weird spot for PVE at the moment. We do stupid amounts of dps and in 10.0.5 we are geting even more damage when we honestly dont need it. Guardian is very strong right now except when it comes to big magic damage spells. I belive I speak for all of us Guardian Druids out there when saying we really need a 1-2 minute magic damage cooldown for those big hits (AMS, AMZ, Spell Reflect, Diffuse Magic etc.) to be viable for high end m+ and raiding. With the arcane fantasy that is very relative at the moment, maybe give us a “Lunar Shield” or maybe a “Protection of Elune” or what ever fits the theme, or maybe just a talent for Iron Fur to absorb a percentage of magic damage taken. We do needmagic damage reduction/shield and maybe at the cost of some percent of our damage/healing cause we can spend that.
Guardian druid needs to not use that ridiculous build from wowhead/ icy veins (whoever copied from who)
Anyway, we will see how all those upcoming changes will manifest.
Wowhead class writers smoked some bonkers stuff this season.
In legion we had a spell called [[Mark of Ursol]] , I don’t know why was removed even from spells database but yeah it reduces 30% magical damage for 6sec and can be applied like Ironfur multiple time
All tanks that can somehow mitigate magic dmg has CD on their spells, then there was druid that could literaly keep it up 100% of time and stack it , yea, i also wonder why it was removed…
Also, as a druid u got 2SI, bark on rather short CD, and quite nice selfheal to mitigate a lot of magic dmg .
